A lot of questions will be answered when Raw rolls into Dayton, Ohio one night after WrestleMania 23.
When Raw begins, the WWE Champion will either be incumbent John Cena or challenger Shawn Michaels. HBK fired the last shot before WrestleMania when he laid out The Champ with Sweet Chin Music last week. Which man will walk into Dayton with the gold around his waist?
Which billionaire will leave WrestleMania bald? Mr. McMahon will watch representative Umaga face Donald Trump’s representative, Bobby Lashley, in the Battle of the Billionaires Sunday night, with the losing billionaire’s hair at stake. The WWE Chairman did all he could to stop the surging Lashley, enlisting Umaga and several others to defeat the ECW World Champion last week. Will that be enough to help the Samoan Bulldozer be victorious and save the Chairman’s hair, or will Lashley help “The Donald” become “The Barber” on April 1?
Speaking of acquiring new titles, one man will become “Mr. Money in the Bank” in Detroit on Sunday night, as the winner of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match will earn a guaranteed World Championship match of his choosing in the next year. Will Edge climb the ladder and become the first two-time winner? Will Rated-RKO partner Randy Orton or bitter rival Jeff Hardy claim the briefcase in the name of Raw? Or will one of the five men representing ECW and SmackDown take the treasure home to their brand?
Find out all this and more as the Road to WrestleMania 24 begins live Monday night at 9/8 CT on the USA Network.
