WWE(R) Sets Date for Annual Stockholders Meeting

STAMFORD, Conn., Mar 08, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) — World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: WWE) will hold its 2007 Annual Meeting of Stockholders at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2007, at the WWE Television Production Facility, 120 Hamilton Avenue, Stamford, Conn. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. and seating will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The meeting will be limited to stockholders (or their authorized representatives) having evidence of their WWE stock ownership. Attendees are asked to obtain an admission ticket in advance by providing proof of their ownership to World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., 1241 E. Main Street, Stamford, CT 06902, Attention Corporate Secretary.
All Available Tickets Sold For 2007 WWE(R) Hall of Fame

STAMFORD, Conn., Mar 08, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) — World Wrestling Entertainment(R) (NYSE: WWE) announced today that all available tickets were purchased for the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony within one minute of going onsale. Additional seats will be released over the course of the next few weeks. The 2007 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday evening, March 31, at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, Mich., is part of WrestleMania(R) 23 weekend.
WrestleMania 23 takes place Sunday, April 1, live at Ford Field in Detroit.
Inductees announced for the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame include Jerry “The King” Lawler, “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig and “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. Additional names will be announced over the next few weeks on WWE programming.

WrestleMania 23 in Detroit has already topped $5 million in ticket sales, making it the highest grossing one-day live event in World Wresting Entertainment history. Fans will be converging on Detroit from 23 countries, all 50 states and 9 Canadian provinces.
