Show Starts
Batista comes out to start the show and he is dressed for action. And now the man Batista is going to steam roll over on his way to the Royal Rumble….Gregory Helms! Helms says Batista may be the World Champion but Helms is the longest reigning champion in Smackdown history! The difference between the two men is that at the Rumble, Batista is going to lose his title! Oh snap.
Match #1: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms
Batista slams Helms in the corner and hits a big boot. Batista clotheslines Helms to the outside. Batista goes out side but Helms gets the thumb in the eye and gets in the ring. Leg drop to the back of the head by Helms and he pounds away. Batista tries to over power Helms but Helms gets some kicks and a leg drop in to take advantage. Helms tries to cover but only gets a two count. Helms runs off the ropes but gets met with a spinebuster! Now a spear by Batista, thumbs downs, and Batista Bomb to add another job to Helms’ record.

Michael Cole and Tazz announce that all six participants of the Over-the-Top Challenge will wrestle in singles action tonight starting tight now!
Match #2: WWE United States Champion Chris Benoit vs. The Miz
Please let Benoit kill the Miz. They lock up but Miz gets to the rope, Lock up again and Benoit hits an arm drag takedown. Miz gets in a single leg take down but Benoit fight back with a kick. Benoit works on Miz in the corner with several kicks. Scoop slam by Benoit followed by a sweet elbow drop. Miz tries to fight back but Benoit plows him over and hits a side slam for two. Miz hits a big neck breaker to change momentum. He starts beating down Benoit for a two count. Miz now works on Benoit in the corner and then hits a back body slam for two. Miz applies a chin lock and Benoit fights back but gets hit with a scoop slam. Miz reapplies the chin lock but Benoit rams him into the corner. Benoit chops the hell out of the Miz and knocks him down. Benoit gets in the three German suplexes and goes to the top rope and hits the head but. Benoit gets a two count as Miz put his foot on the rope. Miz goes for a kick but Benoit slams his leg down and slaps in the Crossface for the win!

We go to the back with Daisy, Deuce, and Domino making sure their car is ready. Funny little segment.

Match #3: Deuce ‘N Domino vs. Adam Evans and John Robinson
Deuce locks in and is physical with Robinson with a huge slam to the mat. Domino gets the tag and trash talks Robinson. He forces Robinson to make the tag and he gets a knee to the skull and then throws him out of the ring. Deuce beats him up and throws him back in the ring for Domino. Tag to Deuce and he lays out Evans. Huge heel kick by Deuce and tag to Domino who takes out Robinson. Deuce and Domino finish off with the kick in the face and Deuce picks up the pin fall.
Winners- Deuce and Domino via pin fall on Adam Evans by Deuce

We go to the back and MVP is blaming Long for Armageddon and saying he isn’t wrestling. Long says if he doesn’t wrestle Kane then he can’t be in the Royal Rumble and leaves.

We come back with King Booker coming to the ring for his match.
Match #4: Finlay vs. King Booker
Booker gets a hand in Finlay’s face and he goes down quick holding his eye. They lock up and Booker takes him down. Both men up and Booker slaps Finlay until Finley fights back with an uppercut and a snapmare. Finlay gets a headlock on Booker but Booker slams him in the corner and punches back. Big kick by Booker for a two count. Finlay takes Booker down by his legs and locks in an leg lock. Finlay lets go of the hold and works on the leg of Booker with some kicks and another takedown. Finlay locks in another leg lock until Booker is able to fight out and Booker fights back with some punches and another big kick out of nowhere! Scoop slam by Batista followed by an elbow drop. Finlay runs at Booker and they hit heads. The Little Bastars comes from under the ring and chases Sharmell and almost drags her under the ring until Booker makes the save. Finlay runs out and they beat each other down. Ref gets tossed in the stairs for I believe a double disqualification.

Match #5: Ashley and WWE Tag Team Champions Brian Kendrick and Paul London vs. MNM in a Six Person Tag Team Match
London starts out with Nitro. London gets a take down and a headlock to start. Shoulder knock down by London for a two count. Tag to Kendrick and a double elbow to Nitro fro two. Tag to London and they work on Nitro’s arm. Tag to Kendrick and a top elbow to the arm. Tag to London and a missile dropkick to Nitro’s shoulder for two. Cross body by London for two. London goes to springboard off the rope but Melina kicks London down. Tag to Mercury and they get a double back body drop for two. Tag to Nitro and they launch London into a turnbuckle, Beautiful move. Nitro works on the neck of London. Tag to Mercury after a cheap shot. They go for another back body drop but London lands on his feet and tags Kendrick who cleans house. Kendrick gets a two count on Kendrick. MNM double team Kendrick until Kendrick kicks Mercury in his injured face and dropkicks Nitro. Ashley takes down Melina and Kendrick flies over the ropes onto MNM. Kendrick hits a sunset flip on Mercury from the turnbuckle with some help from a London dropkick for a two as Melina breaks it up. MNM get in the ring and hit the Snapshot and Mercury picks up the win!

We come back with Mr. Kennedy coming down to the ring and highlights of Kennedy becoming #1 Contender for the World Championship. He gets on the mic and says last week he walked out of Smackdown defeating the Undertaker…again. This Sunday he will defeat Batista…again. He says he is the fastest rising star in WWE history, defeated six world champions, has the physical ability, has the mental tools, and this Sunday will be his crowning achievement that the winner of the match and new World Heavyweight Champion…Missteeerrrr…..Interrupted by Batista….Batista. He asks Kennedy if he wants to slap him again like last week but the lights go out and Undertaker is in the ring. He goes to big boot Kennedy but he hits Batista and Kennedy fleas.

Michael Cole interviews Vladamir Kozlov and asks him what brand he would wrestle for and he said he is in negotiations and if he were in the Royal Rumble, he would eliminate all twenty nine guys.
We go to the back and Kristal interrupts Long and leaves. In comes Vicky Guerrero and she said he’s busy so she will come back later. Strange.
We get highlights of Kane eliminating eleven guys in the 2001 Royal Rumble.
We get Kane vs. MVP next!

We come back and see footage of Kane and MVP in the inferno match for the 642586235832598659823655665894769847698th time. Uggggg!!!!
Match #6: Kane vs. MVP
MVP tries to stay away from Kane but he catches him and works on the burnt back. MVP battles back but Kane slaps the back and digs his elbow in his back. Kane works MVP in the corner and beats him down and then drives his knee into the back of MVP. MVP tries to fight back again but Kane slams MVP in the corner. Kane takes apart MVP top and works on his bandaged back. MVP goes outside the ring but Kane follows him and beats on his back some more. MVP starts to get some offense in with a big kick and starts to beat down Kane. Baseball slide to Kane and Kane falls to the outside. MVP goes out but is met with a huge right hand by Kane. Irish whip attempt but MVP reverses and Kane goes into the stairs. Kane fights back and hits a back body drop on MVP followed by a couple splashes in the corners. Side slam to the back of MVP. Kane climbs the top rope and hits the clothesline. Kane hits a clothesline to MVP’s back and MVP flies out of the ring. Kane attempts a chokeslam on the announce table but MVP fights back, grabs a chair and beats down Kane with it for the DQ. MVP grabs some lighter fluid but Kane hits MVP with a big boot! Kane grabs the fluid but MVP runs away.
Winner- Kane via disqualification

Match #7: Chris Benoit vs. Finlay vs. Kane vs. King Booker vs. Miz vs. MVP in an Over-the-Top Challenge
Kane goes after MVP, Benoit and Booker lock up, and Finlay fights Miz. Kane starts to dominate everyone in the ring as he beats down everybody. Finlay eliminates Kane with a shillelagh shot. Benoit and Booker are outside the ring but did not go over. Finlay tries to eliminates Miz but MVP stops him. MVP and Miz double team Finlay as Benoit and Booker get back in the ring. JBL compares Benoit with my favorite quarter back Brett Favre with the ability to win at anytime. I love it! Lights go out and Undertaker is in the ring and cleans house. I guess he’s in the match? Taker just destroys everybody in the ring. Undertaker throws over Benoit. Out goes Finlay. Undertaker is the last man standing but I don’t think he was in the match.
Winner- DRAW
