WWE.com provided a new update that the preliminary evaluation of Triple H’s injury is a quadriceps tear. He will be evaluated in the morning by Dr. James Andrews in Alabama.
WWE.com’s mobile service provided an update at the conclusion of the New Year’s Revolution PPV on Triple H’s condition following his match with Shawn Michaels against Randy Orton & Edge. Hunter has been taken to a Kansas City medical facility for an MRI on the injured knee. Replays showed that Hunter’s knee gave out when executing a spinebuster on Randy Orton late in the match.
Hunter has a history of leg injuries, most notably when he tore his quad in May 2001 and was out of action for nearly seven months.
