This past Monday on RAW, Vince McMahon made mention of the Donald Trump/Rosie O’Donnell feud. This was no mistake, as the current plan is to have a “Battle of the Billionaires” angle featuring McMahon and Trump leading into Royal Rumble. The angle would involve Vince and Donald each managing a wrestler. Both parties are still currently negotiating.
According to one source, NBC Universal approached WWE this past November about conducting the angle. It appears NBC is looking for help to improve the rating of “The Apprentice.”
