CORNETTE DECLARES: SAMOA JOE VS. KURT ANGLE III TO BE THIRTY-MINUTE IRONMAN MATCH!
On Thursday’s “iMPACT!”, Samoa Joe attacked Kurt Angle prior to his match with Christian Cage, leading to a brawl between the two TNA stars that went all over the arena. During the melee, Cornette told TNA security to let the two fight, as the fans wanted it! Later, Cornette announced that the Joe vs. Angle bout for “Final Resolution” would be a 30 Minute Ironman Match, with the winner determined by whomever score the most decisions in the half hour bout!
MITCHELL TELLS ABYSS “MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE OR THE WORLD WILL KNOW YOUR SECRET!”
Footage also aired on “iMPACT!” of manager James Mitchell forcing Abyss to return to the prison he once called “home”. According to Mitchell, if Abyss doesn’t side with his manager over Sting, then the world will learn the secret about the monster’s past! Now, not only are Cage and Tomko hanging the secret over the World Champion’s head, but so is his own manager! Will Abyss once again side with Mitchell, or are Sting’s words finally having an effect on the man behind the mask? Would Mitchell really reveal his monster’s past to the world as punishment? Certainly, we’ll find out more on the situation Thursday night on “iMPACT!”, just days before the big World Title Elimination Match at “Final Resolution” between Abyss, Cage and Sting! Jim Cornette also announced during the broadcast that Tomko would be barred from ringside for the World Title match at the Pay-Per-View.
THE LATIN AMERICAN XCHANGE VS. TEAM 3D FOR THE NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE AT FINAL RESOLUTION
Also on Thursday night, we learned that The Latin American Xchange accepted Team 3D’s challenge to face them at “Final Resolution” for the NWA World Tag Team Title! On “iMPACT!”, Homicide beat Brother Runt in a Mexican Street Fight, leading to a subsequent brawl between the LAX and 3D!

– The Voodoo Kin Mafia (BG and Kip James) announced that since “Dumb To The Xtreme” wasn’t accepting their million-dollar challenge, they called out Michael Hickenbottom to meet them in San Antonio, Texas, this Wednesday at the Alamo at high noon!
– TNA Knockout Gail Kim was interviewed on the broadcast about the end of America’s Most Wanted. Kim said that she has kept in contact with Chris Harris, who is still out of action with an eye injury sustained at the hands of James Storm. During the interview, Storm interrupted the sitdown to deliver a message to Gail – there is no middle ground, she’s either with Harris or Storm!
– Ms. Brooks is actively – and aggressively – attempting to get Eric Young to join Robert Roode, Inc! During the broadcast, Young approached Jeremy Borash looking for love advice for a “friend”. Brooks appeared on the scene, asking Young if he had gotten what she told him to find last week. When Young told her no, she threatened to have him fired if he didn’t have the goods by Thursday! What is Brooks referring to? What is she demanding of Eric Young?
