Webmasters and owners of wrestling websites must be really hard up for hits these days. Earlier today a completely fake story popped up on a lot of sites that said Ric Flair would be leaving the WWE due to his divorce proceedings with his latest wife. Then the story changed into Flair just leaving WWE TV, but staying with the company.
Then the story changed into Flair is NOT leaving WWE or WWE TV at all.
Just so everyone knows what’s going on here…the more you click on these obviously garbage stories, the more a site’s hits go up. The more the hits go up, the more advertising the webmaster or owner can sell on the site. The more advertising they can sell on the site, the more the bottom line of operating a wrestling site (which is, by-and-large is NOT a profitable venture) moves towards “the black” (that means it becomes profitable).
So folks, do yourself a favor and STOP clicking on such ridiculous stories and stay away from the sites that would harp on this rubbish.
