Remember when Cyber Sunday used to be Taboo Tuesday? I can’t say that I’m disappointed that this pay per view was moved to a Sunday night, since a Tuesday pay per view wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. Now I know many of you that emailed me won’t be ordering the show, but it’s ordered here and while it’s true it’s probably not the best built up pay per view I’m still looking forward to watching it. I want to thank all of you that have sent me your predictions. I can’t get over how the majority of my readers went as far as to picking not only the winners, but who they see being voted in with Ric Flair, Umaga and the ref for DX and also what stipulations will win it in the other matches. Lately I am finding it hard to do a decent job with my picks so trust me I haven’t even thought about what stipulations or wrestlers the fans will vote in. So let me get right to my predictions and with my record I really need to shine tonight, because if I continue my losing ways I might have to hire someone to do my picks for me. Of course I’m only kidding but I am hoping to do a decent job for a change.
Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch vs. Cryme Tyme vs. Charlie Haas & Viscera vs. The Highlanders in a Fatal Four Way, a Tag Team Turmoil, or a Texas Tornado match.
Honestly can any of you see Cryme Tyme losing this one? There is no way. Cryme Tyme will win. I’m hoping this will be a match that isn’t long and doesn’t drag. I’m not happy with the tag team division on Raw, so I’m a little concerned about how this will go. Yet there is some good talent in here, I guess it’s just Viscera and Trevor Murdoch that really don’t excite me in the ring. But maybe this will all turn out fine.
Winners: Cryme Tyme
Umaga vs. Kane, Chris Benoit or The Sandman
Now I know I said I’m not picking who the fans vote for, but I just have a feeling it’s Umaga vs. Chris Benoit. Again that I’m not sure about, but I don’t see Umaga losing no matter who his opponent is. If Benoit is in this I know Chris will bring a lot to the match. I feel Umaga will win and the rumor about Cena vs. Umaga as the next feud will happen.
Winner: Umaga
Mickie James vs. Lita in a tournament final for the WWE Women’s Title – Will it be a No Disqualification match, a Diva Lumberjack match, or a Submission match?
With Lita supposedly leaving WWE as soon as this Monday night according to the latest rumor, I would be extremely shocked if Lita wins. I would like to see both of these women work a nice neat match and not rush their moves, because then I really believe we will get something worth watching.
Winner: Mickie James
World Tag Team Championship – The Spirit Squad vs. Ric Flair and Rowdy Roddy Piper, or Dusty Rhodes or Sgt. Slaughter
I think the Spirit Squad will finally lose their titles tonight. I don’t see them together too much longer. Flair and his partner will walk out the champions and probably not keep the titles long but long enough to give the fans new champions to cheer for. Personally I don’t expect much from the match, but I do expect a lot of charisma from Flair and his partner
Winner: Ric Flair and his partner
Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Carlito or Shelton Benjamin or Johnny Nitro. This is like the Umaga match, I don’t think it matters whom Jeff Hardy will face, because I do not see him losing tonight. The good thing about this match is no matter who is voted in we are definitely going to see two men at the same level put on one hell of a match.
Winner: Jeff Hardy
Triple H & Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton & Edge – The guest referee for this match will be Vince McMahon or Eric Bischoff or Jonathan Coachman
You know I’m kind of mixed about who I should go with. I originally planned on going with Edge and Randy Orton. But then I’m thinking, with Vince McMahon, Eric Bischoff and Coach all in the running for the referee job, DX hasn’t got one ally in the running. So something hit me. We all know that there are three heels to vote for, but, the more Eric Bischoff has been talking about DX copying NWO and then Bischoff making a comment last Monday night that he was controversial before DX and Vince knew what controversy was, makes me that whether Vince wins the vote or not he will do what he can to screw Edge/Orton and Bischoff. Let’s face it I Coach won’t get the majority of the votes. So that leaves it between Bisch and McMahon. Now I’m thinking and maybe thinking too hard that DX will win with a Vince McMahon swerve. I know I should always go with my first choice which is Edge and Orton, but I just keep thinking that DX will win. Well I could take a while to work this out, but I’ll go with DX
Winners: DX
John Cena vs. King Booker vs. Big Show Which Title will be on the line?
I can’t see Cena loosing. He’s going to win no matter what belt is on the line. How could he lose? He is WWE right now. I mean you can’t watch any WWE programming without that movie of his being shoved down our throats 2-3 times a show. He’s Vince’s golden boy and I don’t see him losing. The only one that I’m looking forward to watching is Booker T. He has just been awesome as the World champion. I think he’ll carry the match and Big Show will work very little since he’s in bad shape physically. And don’t get me wrong, Cena will do his thing and get the crowd going. No one will look bad here.
Winner: John Cena
There you have my picks and Tuesday I’ll be back with my thoughts on this show and Raw. If anyone is going to Cyber Sunday live I would love to hear how it was, and those that are ordering it like I am let’s hope that when the show is over we’re all very satisfied by what we saw. Now this is wrestling unrelated but I just wanted to mention that I saw Borat Friday night, well really Saturday morning since it was the midnight show. It was one of THE funniest movies I’ve ever seen. I would say if you haven’t seen it GO you won’t be sorry. The only downfall is I’m now talking like him and I think my husband is ready to throw me out of the house. If you are looking to laugh a lot then definitely go see the movie.
