– Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon currently want Degeneration-X to go full stream, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting. There have been complaints regarding the group, saying that it has run its course. Vince & Steph are refusing to listen to any dissenting opinions on any of those subjects, including the idea of adding new youngers members to DX as a way to give them the a huge push. The only discussions of bringing in new members of DX was back in the early summer when Vince decided to bring back Road Dogg and Billy Gunn.
Regarding opponents, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash have come up, but the two don’t want to do house shows, plus Hall screwed up back in 2002 when everyone claimed he had changed, so people will be skeptical.
– Last night was UPN’s last broadcast on television, which meant SmackDown! will be in the record books as the final television program to ever air on the network. Speaking of SmackDown!, TVRatingsUSA.com is reporting that UPN took a record low 0.9/2 rating and 0.5 18-49 demographic rating last night. SmackDown! premieres on the new CW Network next week.
