• Steve Keirn’s Pro Wrestling School of Hard Knocks is at Gold’s Gym, 901 Lithia-Pinecrest Rd. in Brandon, Fla. The space is designed for wrestling and weight training.
The school has been a fixture of the Tampa Bay area since the early 1990s following many grueling classes at the Tampa Sportatorium in the late 1980s.
The Pro Wrestling School of Hard Knocks is credited to teaching many superstars including Mike Awesome, Dustin Rhodes, Tracey Smothers, Dennis Mideon Knight and Diamond Dallas Page.
Because of the time constraints of his full-time job as a World Wrestling Entertainment talent agent, Keirn handed day to day operations of the wrestling school to co-head trainers Iceman Buck Quartermaine and Modern Miracle Steve Madison.
