World Wrestling Entertainment posted $93.3 million in revenue for its fiscal first quarter ended July 28, down slightly from the $93.8 million it generated during the same period last year.
It pulled $11.3 million (16 cents per share) in net income during the quarter, compared to $11.2 million (16 cents per share) this time last year.
WWE doesn’t sell advertising under its new rights deal with USA Network, which accounted for $8 million in ad revenue last year, when it was still carried on Spike TV, the company noted in the earnings report.
