There are no plans at this moment in WWE to have Highlanders Vs. Spirt Squad, Johnny Nitro Vs. Kane, Paul London & Brian Kendrick Vs. KC James & Idol Stevens, or any US Title match at Summerslam. If you have not heard, Chavo Guerrero Vs. Rey Mysterio was announced on WWE.com for Summerslam recently.
1960s wrestler Karl Von Stroheim, who lived in the Tampa, FL area for decades, passed away sadly from a heart attack. He was 78 years old.
At least two of the WWE shows in Mexico have been moved to smaller arenas. The 9/20 show at the Plaza de Toros arena which fits 50,000 has been moved to the Palacio De Los Deportes arena which fits 20,000. The 9/23 show at Arena Monterrey which fits 18,000 has been moved to the Plaza de Toro Monumental which fits 14,000. WWE was planning on sending no Latinos to these shows, specifically Rey Mysterio who is the biggest Hispanic draw in WWE right now.
