A fire to the roof of the studio where TNA does its taping caused a lengthy delay in today’s Hard Justice PPV show.
The fire became noticeable as Eric Young was in the ring with Johnny Devine. Suddenly you could see fire extinguishers spraying and the ring being engulfed in a fog. The wrestlers were not given a cue to get out of the ring and continued the match until Young had won. All the fans and officials were told to evacuate the building and they played videos building up the Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett main event over-and-over.
When they came back, Mike Tenay and Jeremy Borash were outside the building, near the fire trucks.
Eventually, fans were let back in and the show went on as scheduled, with only one match having to be cut, a four-way tag team match with AMW vs. The Naturals vs. James Gang vs. Matt Bentley & Frankie Kazarian. The match may be made up at tomorrow’s TV tapings in the same building.
