Due to last month’s PPV match, their ring entrance, fan reaction, and much more, the office mentality on LAX has changed. Originally, they were supposed to be fed to Styles & Daniels for a quick win, but they are now being looked as a top act that may get the tag straps soon. Many feel like a face turn of the team will be inevitable in TNA as is the same with any hot heel act in TNA.
Sting has been turning down angle after angle lately. Sting has refused to do anything that will make him look weak such as bleeding in a match. At Victory Road, Sting turned down wearing an eye patch to sell the gasoline in the eyes. His rationale was that his son was in the same situation at one time and was fine a few hours later, so it wouldn’t be realistic. Because of this, the chances that Sting will remain in TNA after his contract expires are running slim.
Austin Aries will be coming back under the name “Austin Starr” in a situation similar to Low Ki coming in under the name “Senshi” where an established Indy wrestler doesn’t want to sign over ownership rights to his better known alias.
The idea of pairing Samoa Joe with a MMA Star on PPV has been popping up, but the right name has not come up as of yet. The idea is to build a match with a mainstream name that will draw in the MMA audience to TNA shows over the next few months before Bound For Glory.
Scott D’Amore will be off of television for at least the next few months.
