Doors 6.30pm, box office 08700 600100.
Matches signed so far:
MAIN EVENT – THREE-WAY ESSEX BOYS STREETFIGHT
‘The Wonderkid’ Jonny Storm v Paul Tyrrell v ‘The Pukka One’ Darren Burridge‘
Perennial number one contender to the FWA British Heavyweight Title, ‘The Wonderkid’ Jonny Storm, has been added to the Essex Boys Streetfight on Saturday August 5 at Sudbury Sports Centre. Storm says there’s only one true Essex Boy in the FWA, and that’s him, and so he’s going to face the warring Darren Burridge and Paul Tyrrell head on to prove it.
Last time the FWA was in Sudbury, the first Tyrrell v Burridge match ended controversially with ‘The Pukka One’ eeking out a DQ win. Then Tyrrell avoided his scheduled Essex Streetfight against ‘The Pukka One’ on his manor of Colchester due to a serious eye injury. At Sudbury, there will be no excuses. Tyrrell and Burridge will meet head-on in a no holds barred, no DQ Streetfight and this time, they’ve got Jonny Storm for company!
ALL-ENGLAND TITLE MATCH – BATTLE OF THE UNDEFEATED
Leroy Kincade v Iceman (with Greg ‘The Truth’ Lambert)
The undefeated and extremely dangerous Iceman has challenged the undefeated and extremely talented Leroy Kincade at Sudbury on Saturday August 5. As Iceman has racked up the wins against the likes of Stevie Lynn, Paul Travell and Andy Simmonz, there’s no doubt that the wily Greg Lambert has seized this opportunity to manoeuvre his charge into position for a crack at the All-England Title. The popular champ has seen off Hade Vansen, Dragon Aisu, Jorge Castano and James Tighe but the ice cold lunatic of hardcore could be Leroy’s most difficult challenge to date. It’s undefeated versus undefeated, and somebody’s ‘0’ must go….!
PLUS
TAG TEAM ACTION – The United Lions v The UK Pitbulls
The FWA certainly seems to have it in for Andy Simmonz, who must have been expecting an easy debut match for his United Lions tag team with friend Eamon O’Neill. But matchmakers have instead signed The Lions to face the mammothly dangerous UK Pitbulls. Still smarting from recent convincing defeats against FWA dangermen Charlie Rage and Iceman, Simmonz must feel that somebody up there doesn’t like him!
FLYWEIGHT MATCH – Aviv Maayan in action
When Pac broke his ribs, Aviv Maayan was left without an FWA British Flyweight Title match. But Aviv will still be in Flyweight action on the show, a welcome return for one of the FWA’s finest.
WOMEN’S MATCH – Minx v Jade
With Nikita on her way to the States, the position of most dominant female in the FWA is up for grabs. These two young vixens have a chance to stake their claim at Sudbury on Saturday August 5 in a glamorous battle of femme fatales.

NEWS FLASH – FWA IN CHIPPENHAM, SUBMISSION MATCH SIGNED
It will be Sunday Bank Holiday warfare when the FWA debuts in Chippenham, Wiltshire on Sunday August 27, and the first match signed for this event could be the decider in what has been a tremendously contested feud.
‘The Pukka One’ Darren Burridge and James Tighe will meet one more time at Chippenham. At Crunch, Burridge beat Tighe by submission to the Chavlock. Then at Rugby last Sunday, Tighe controversially made ‘The Pukka One’ submit to the Texas Cloverleaf. It’s now one win apiece, so FWA officials have decided to settle this issue by signing a Submission Match between Burridge and Tighe, where the only way to win is to make your opponent give up!
FWA Live in Chippenham featuring ‘The Pukka One’ Darren Burridge v James Tighe in a Submission Match is at the Olympiad Leisure Centre, doors 6.30pm, bell time 7pm. Tickets cost £16 for front row, £10 for adults, £7.50 for children and £30 for a family ticket. They are on sale now by calling the box office on 08700 600100 or from the Calendar/Tickets section of www.frontierwrestling.com

NEWS FLASH – FWA LAST FIGHT AT THE PROM – TITLE MATCH
It has been confirmed that the FWA British Heavyweight Title, currently held by Robbie Brookside, will be defended at Last Fight At The Prom, the final Morecambe Dome show of 2006, on Saturday September 30.
However, it appears that the challenger will not be the obvious contender ‘The Wonderkid’ Jonny Storm. Storm has a commitment in Europe on that date, dating back over 12 months, and will not be in Morecambe on September 30.
Therefore FWA officials are meeting to decide who will face the champion at Last Fight At The Prom. Who will they determine to be the new number one contender? Stay tuned…
Also already confirmed for Morecambe on September 30 are the long-anticipated Stevie Knight v Johnny Angel in an I Quit Match and tag team action featuring Mark Sloan and Ollie Burns v The Manchester Massive.
Tickets are now on sale for FWA Last Fight At The Prom from the box office on 01524 582803. They cost £16 for ringside, £10 for adults, £7.50 for children and £30 for a family ticket.

NEWS FLASH – BROOKSIDE TO MAKE FIRST DEFENCE IN ROH!
After the crowning of a new FWA British Heavyweight Champion on July 15 in Morecambe, Frontier Wrestling Alliance management had been in talks with ROH UK representatives in an attempt to arrange an FWA title defence on the first leg of the upcoming Ring of Honor UK tour. After nearly two weeks of negotiations we can exclusively announce that the proposed FWA title defence will now take place on the Ring of Honor UK event at the Liverpool Olympia on Saturday August 12.
New champion Robbie Brookside is scheduled to make his ROH debut in his home town of Liverpool against US star Chad Collyer on August 12, so this match has now been upgraded to FWA British Heavyweight Title status. Many are seeing this as Brookside’s last high profile shot at making it on the US scene but with his recent win of the FWA Title many feel that the time could be more than right for the Wildcat. Adding the title defence to the situation only gives Robbie the champion’s advantage in this match to be fought under FWA rules.
The FWA title has been defended on ROH sole before and in fact former champion Doug Williams defeated Christopher Daniels for the belt to begin his second reign as British Heavyweight Champion back in early 2003. Williams also previously defended his ROH Pure Wrestling title on FWA cards in 2004 so the both companies have featured title defences of the other company’s belts in the past.
