PWU TV Taping Results; 8/19 Event Announced

Thanks to all the fans of Pro Wrestling Unplugged who packed the New
Alhambra Sports & Entertainment Center last night for “Caged at the
Alhambraâ€, PWU’s first internet TV taping.
UGLY BABY started things off, celebrating in the crowd with the hot
Philadelphia fans. But nothing was hotter than the action inside the ring
for a fast-paced night of wrestling excitement.
In his debut, RHETT TITUS defeating JD SMOOTH w/ POOL SHARD.
MICKIE KNUCKLES went blow for MISSY SAMPSON, only to be cheated out of her
victory celebration went AMY LEE ran in to lay KNUCKLES out.
PHOENIX defeated SCOTT DUKES.
ALL MONEY IS LEGAL continued to show their strength in the PWU tag division,
easily taking apart PELEE PRIMEU & ANTONIO BLANKA.
“The Complete†PETE HUNTER defeated ASHE SAMUELS in a hard fought contest,
but was assaulted by “The RAW Superstar†NICK BERK after the match up.
BERK, along with MAD DOCTOR DON BOOTZ showcases what he said was HIS PWU TV
TITLE. However, PWU GENERAL MANAGER JOHN HOUSE had enough of that & put
BERK in his place, announcing a tournament would take place to crown the
first champion, despite any of BERK’s grand standing.
In a PWU TV TITLE qualifying match, “Primetime†TEDDY FINE snuck one away
from CJ O’DOYLE with help from some rope leverage.
ARAMIS got a measure of revenge on rival KJ HELLFIRE, sending him flying
through a table to score a pin.
In a non-stop, action packed contest, DETOX with BIG DRO pinned JACK EVANS.
DETOX truly held his own against EVANS in this one.
In what was to be a return match between THE BRISCOE BROTHERS & THE ANGUS
BROTHERS, PWU TAG TEAM champions THE SAT also joined in to make a three-way
dance. A flurry of action from bell to bell, the PWU TAG champions THE SAT
pulled away the victory, only to be met with a fight on their way to the
back from ALL MONEY IS LEGAL.
Then, the first of two STEEL CAGE MAIN EVENTS. In a WAR GAMES contest that
saw tables, chairs, & carnage, the team of HELTER SKELTER, Z-BARR, & DANNY
DEMANTO managed to get a victory over “DR. DEATH†STEVE WILLIAMS, “PITBULLâ€
GARY WOLF, & their surprise partner, PWU HARDCORE champion IAN ROTTEN. But
the surprise was on them as ROTTEN turned his back on the PITBULL & DR.
DEATH to help TEAM SKELTER get the win.
In the second STEEL CAGE match, it was the reunion of THE BACKSEAT BOYZ,
TRENT ACID & JOHNNY KASHMERE & NOTORIOUS, INC., DEVON MOORE & DREW BLOOD.
All four men showed their tremendous athleticism in the ring, but it was the
BACKSEAT BOYZ who walked away with the victory.
Announced last night, Pro Wrestling Unplugged returns Saturday, August 19 at
the New Alhambra Sports & Entertainment Center, 7 Ritner ST, Philadelphia,
PA. In a WOMEN’S FIRST BLOOD MATCH, MICKIE KNUCKLES challenges AMY LEE.
Also, the PWU TAG TITLES are on the line in a LADDER MATCH between champions
THE SAT & ALL MONEY IS LEGAL.
JUST ADDED is a three way main event as PWU HEAVYWEIGHT champion 2 COLD
SCORPIO defends his title against former champion TRENT ACID & DEVON MOORE.
