Professional wrestling is set to come back to Timmins yet again.
Blood, Sweat and Ears (BSE) will be presenting another night of action at the Archie Dillon Sportsplex on September 30.
BSE brought wrestling back to Timmins for the first time in 15 years earlier this summer.
Rick Lemieux who played a big part in getting BSE, said he wasn’t surprised that it was a success.
“I thought we’d sell 1,000 tickets,†he said. “When we hit that mark, I invited them to come back.â€
A big draw for this show will be Captain Charisma himself, Christian Cage, who frequently does shows with BSE in the Toronto-area.
Cage, who hails from Orangeville, Ontario, is a former WWE superstar and currently wrestles for TNA (Total Non-Stop Action), where he was the Heavyweight Champion until a few months ago.
Lemieux said people seem to be very excited that Cage will be appearing.
“We played a video with highlights of him at the last show and people started going crazy,†he said.
Also appearing will be TNA “knockout†Traci Brooks, as well as all the BSE superstars.
Lemieux said there might be a few surprises at the show so he urged fans to get their tickets.
“We are going to have a better set up, it’s going to be a good show,†he said.
Tickets are $10 for arena stands, $15 for general admission and $25 for limited VIP
Lemieux said that people with VIP tickets will be allowed in 45 minutes earlier and will get the chance to meet Christian Cage and Traci Brooks.
