TORONTO, July 24: World Wrestling Entertainment’s new series Extreme Championship Wrestling, which launched on SCI FI Channel in the U.S. last month, is set to launch in Canada on Global Television Network on August 11.
The series will air at midnight on Friday nights on Global, and will also be shown on Xtreme on Saturdays at 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Sundays at 4 a.m.
Global has also committed to adding both Monday Night RAW and SmackDown! to its lineup in Quebec, beginning with RAW on August 7 at midnight on CKMI. SmackDown! will air on Saturday nights at 12:30 a.m. on CJNT starting on August 11.
