WWE is advertising Kurt Angle’s return as taking place at an ECW House Show on August 21st in Altoona, PA at the Jaffa Mosque. He’ll be a part of a Triple Threat Match (of course not a Three Way Dance as the old ECW would feature) also featuring ECW Champion Big Show and Rob Van Dam. The title will be on the line. Test vs. Tommy Dreamer is also advertised for that night, and boy, I bet Dreamer is loving this new ECW.
WWE has named Kristi D’Aliso promotions manager, in charge of developing promotional campaigns introducing the company’s products to the cable industry. Heather Lubin has gotten a promotion and is now taking the position of affiliate marketing manager, responsible for overseeing marketing efforts for the company’s pay-per-view programs for cable and satellite.
The CW Network has announced the SmackDown! “season premiere” will take place on 9/22.
