Upon entering the building at Vengeance yesterday, WWE and ECW wrestlers were greeted with signs telling them to go see the doctor. As it turns out, it was drug testing day yesterday.
One of the reasons that Vince McMahon isn’t too high on pushing some of the ECW wrestlers is because he isn’t convinced that some of them can handle the lifestyle. He doesn’t want to invest TV time on talent who have drug problems and aren’t reliable. Once they prove themselves, then they will be pushed.
One long-time veteran wrestler recently observed the WWE locker room. He noted how cleaned up the locker room is compared to a few years ago. “It’s so different now, I’d be afraid to ask around for something (drugs),” he was overheard saying.
Johnny Jeter is one wrestler who’s been taking the Wellness policy seriously. His physique has changed quite a bit in the last month or so.
