Andy H. sent one. … I heard today driving to work an ad promoting Saturday Night’s Main Event at Cobo Arena here in Detroit. The ad says “Be apart of history as one of the most watched wrestling shows of the 80s returns with the stars of Raw and Smackdown doing battle on the Road to WrestleMania 22. After a 13-year absence, Saturday Night’s Main Event returns to NBC March, 18, live as a two-hour primetime special and you can see all the action up close and personal.” It hinted that stars from the past, present and future of WWE will all be in attendance for this historic night.Tickets for the event go on sale Saturday February 11 at 10am at the Cobo box office and all ticketmaster outlets and online at ticketmaster.com. Two main events were announced in the ad: Kurt Angle-vs-The Undertaker and John Cena-vs-Edge with special referee Triple H…The spot didnt mention anything about these matches being on the show or if they are dark matches…but just thought I’d let you know that these ads are being run probably every 15 minutes on stations including 89x and WRKR The Rocker if people want to hear them.
