Recently, many things have been reported involving recent TNA news and while
First, TNA currently has no interest in Teddy Hart, nephew of legend Bret Hart. According to many, Hart has burned too many bridges in wrestling today which would include TNA and ROH all based from a very long string of incidents in 2003 including a backstage argument with AJ Styles and a post-match celebration which no-sold the whole match prior. Teddy Hart still finds work on his name, but has been experiencing financial problems because he continues to burn bridges with promotions, most recently with the WAR promotion. Many misread this newsbit because TNA is, in fact, interested in Jack Evans and Harry Smith who are both very close friends of Teddy Hart. The real report going on is that TNA wants to bring these two in, but fears they will have to bring Hart in as well which they don’t want to do at all.
Next, Billy Kidman was never offered a TNA contract, as those in TNA really have no interest in him. Kidman had approached TNA management with an idea for the Raven storyline with him coming in to play off his days in the flock, but TNA was under the impression it wouldn’t work out well with the audience. Also, TNA was not very warm to the idea of having someone as injury-prone as Kidman on their roster. Since that time, Kidman and TNA haven’t talked at all as Kidman felt he was treated horribly in the whole situation as TNA management didn’t even take him serious.
Finally, there seems to be an uproar about WWE picking Detroit for the site of the first Saturday Night Main Event in many years only a day after TNA will be having their first official house show. In reality, WWE picked Detroit at least a month ago in hopes of reviving the city that has seemed to not bode well for wrestling since 2000. TNA recently picked Detroit last week for their first house show with the main reason being that WWE will be in town the next day and TNA is looking to draw first blood in a war. Though many wouldn’t put it past WWE to try and crush the competition in a situation like this, this time, TNA seems to be the one making all the moves against WWE.
