Johnny Laurinaitis has been given word from the top to sign anyone if it comes out that TNA has an interest in them, even if they are former WWE talent they got rid of. Jamie Noble specifically was hired largely to keep him out of TNA, as WWE had no plans when they hired him. WWE sees 2006 as a pivotal year for TNA and obviously wants to make sure they don’t become competition. Some office workers have been told the goal is to sign talent TNA is interested in and then bury them and give them lengthy non-compete clauses, so if they let them go, they’ll be viewed as damaged goods. Most cited Kazarian as a prime example though he left on his own.
Apparently, Nick Dinsmore may not be out of rehab yet. The facility WWE sent him to in Atlanta gives its clients a day pass after a few weeks and it is possible that Dinsmore just went to the DSW show on his day pass. He will likely be in rehab a few more months.
Vince McMahon is apparently very happy with the Kane movie, “See No Evil.” Dan Madigan, the writer of the movie, has already pitched a sequel and everyone is excited to get started, but of course, they are waiting to see how the movie does in theaters. It should be noted that McMahon wasn’t too pleased with Cena’s movie “The Marine.”
