Frank Talent of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission has said on his boxing/wrestling radio show the past two weeks that the 1/14 CZW show will be moved from 3:30 PM to 8 PM because the commission is enforcing its rule against two events taking place at the same time in the city since another show has an afternoon show with the main event being Sandman versus Jake Roberts. To add to the pot, he also claimed the ROH 1/14 evening show will be moved to 1/15. It is interesting because both CZW and ROH are saying that they will not move their shows because they do not want to screw fans who bought both tickets. If the state commission is successful, it would most likely put a damper on the main story of each event as a recent Chris Hero (of CZW) versus Bryan Danielson (of ROH) feud has been set to come to a head this weekend. It should also be noted that PA is not the only state having problems with its athletic commission as the Virginia one is just looking for ways to kill Indy wrestling at this point.
It should also be noted that this weekend is a big deal for both CZW and ROH as they are finally acknowledging a rift that has been rumored between the two companies, and most are excited to finally see Chris Hero in ROH as he has been labeled one of the best Indy wrestlers to never go to ROH.
To follow up the major CZW altercation from a few weeks ago, people are saying that promoter John Zandig never pushed Mike Pancoast down a flight of stairs, but regardless of the validity of the altercation, Pancoast has since left the company under bad terms.
