Bret Hart was recently approached by Vince McMahon with the idea of doing a short match with Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania 22. The idea was just that Hart would throw a punch or two and lock in the Sharpshooter for the win and Vince asked him if he could do that. While Bret most likely could, he still turned them down but was supposedly very nice about it as to not burn any bridges.
Batista vs. Mark Henry was all but confirmed for the Royal Rumble, but with Batista’s injury, it is not known what will happen. If it does go through, expect it to play out similar to the Brock Lesnar-Hardcore Holly mini-feud from 2004.
For those who don’t know, the recently signed Dalip “Giant” Singh is the one who gave a spinebuster to Brian Ong a few years ago in a training school which lead to Ong’s accidental death. It should also be noted that Singh is being reported as being worse off than both Giant Gonzales and Nathan Jones, but management is aware of that and has sent him to OVW with the impression that he will not be used for a long time.
Dusty Rhodes is apparently the main reason Sonny Siaki was signed to WWE as Rhodes always said he was one of the people always passed over in TNA despite being better than most.
