It is time for the main event as there is No CHANCE that Vince ‘SiskelEbert’ McMahon (with *** stunt walk) would not come to the ring to do his DVD review. Vince says that his comments about the Bret DVD will be forthcoming. First, we see a clip of Bret’s comments about the ‘Montreal Screwjob’ and how you have people on one side or the other and you don’t know all the facts. Bret says that Vince did what he had to do, and Bret would not change anything he did. Bret says that ‘history will speak for itself’. Vince comments on Bret’s ‘history will speak for itself’ comments. Vince says that he thinks he is in the right and Bret thinks that he is in the right. Vince asks everyone if he thinks he was right or if Bret was right. Vince asks if they think he was right. Then he asks if they think Bret was wrong. Vince points out that he tricked the fans into giving him the answer that he wanted. He says that he tricked Bret that night into giving him the result that he wanted. The means justify the ends. He tricked Bret. . . He tricked the fans as long as he gets the right thing for the business. Shawn Michael’s music plays and he walks to the ring. Vince introduces Shawn as his ‘partner in crime’. He wants Shawn to talk about how they worked together to screw Bret. Shawn whispers something into Vince’s ear and Vince is stunned at what Shawn said. Vince says that Shawn has something to say. Shawn takes the mic and he tells Vince the last thing he is going to do is defend Bret Hart because nobody would buy it and it would be hypocritical. He has been asked a thousand times if he would do it again. Every time he said that he would do it again. Vince applauds at that. Shawn says that he would do it again now as well as then. His loyalty has been to the company. He thought it was the right thing to do for the WWE. It is one thing for Bret to continue to relive that day and it is his choice. However, for Vince to continue to relive that day, it is time to let it go. Shawn reminds Vince that it was eight years ago, and a lot has changed. Vince is the chairman of the board of a multi-million dollar corporation. Isn’t it time for both of them to grow up a little and move on. Vince mouths ‘son of a bitch’ to Shawn. Vince gets on the mic and asks for a clarification about the ‘move on’ comments. Vince brings up Buddy Rogers, the first WWWF champion. Then you have Bruno, Pedro, Billy, Hulk Hogan, and Ultimate Warrior. They moved on, but one name has remained a constant. That name is McMahon. Should Vince make Shawn ‘move on’ like those other guys? Vince says that he could do it with a snap of his fingers. As the business has moved on, so has Shawn. One bad investment and we know what would happen. Shawn has responsibilities for his family. He wants to provide a high standard of living for his family, so maybe he should think about ‘moving on’. Shawn is no different than these people. There is no other place to go. There is no WCW. They all work for ‘the man’. For Shawn ‘the man’ would be Vince McMahon. Vince appreciates Shawn speaking his mind, but it looks like Shawn is eating a little humble pie and swallowing his pride. Vince says that he does not like throwing his weight around. He wants to know how Shawn feels about swallowing his pride. Vince tells Shawn that he is like everyone and he will do what he did like when he told Shawn at Survivor Series. From now on, there will be zero tolerance. He will not take it any more as his New Year’s Resolution. Vince has one more message for Shawn. He admits to screwing Bret Hart, and tells Shawn to make sure that he does not screw Shawn. Shawn and Vince stare each other down and then Vince tosses the mic to Shawn. Shawn takes off his jacket while Vince steps out of the ring and walks to the back as we go to credits.
