– Booker T defeated Chris Benoit clean with an ax kick to go up 2-0 in the Best Of Seven Series for the United States Championship.
– A video tribute to Eddie Guerrero was shown.
– Rey Mysterio was shown praying in his locker room, mentioning that he wanted Eddie Guerrero to be his “guardian angel” and look out for him in the ring. Video packages on Rey Mysterio and his feud with Big Show from 2003 (although it wasn’t mentioned that the feud was that long ago) were shown.
– It was announced that this Friday on Smackdown there would be a Tag Team Battle Royal, with the winners getting a Tag Team Title match with MNM at Unforgiven. The teams competing will be Nunzio & Vito, Scotty 2 Hotty & Funaki, Paul London & Brian Kendrick, Road Warrior Animal & Heidenreich, The Dicks, and The Mexicools.
– Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show had no actual finish. Rey entered in a low rider, with Eddie Guerrero’s music playing. At one point, Big Show powerbombed Rey onto the hood of the car, but the match continued, despite officials and EMT’s checking on Rey. The referee was knocked out, and Show went for a chair, which Rey got control of and used to chop down Big Show. Rey gave Big Show a frog splash, but Kane came out. Rey was given a double chokeslam, but the lights went out and Undertaker appeared to clean house on Show and Kane (with Kane actually retreating at first, not wanting to fight Taker).
Randy Orton then showed up and gave Undertaker an RKO. Orton ended up using a tire iron from the low rider to beat Undertaker into unconsciousness (even shoving away Bob Orton, who felt Randy had done enough). Orton then drove the low rider, with Undertaker draped over the trunk, in reverse, driving Undertaker through the Smackdown set. The car and set burst into flames (Undertaker presumably “trapped” between the car and equipment behind the set), with Orton running away from the wreckage and watching as the show ended.
