While I would like to talk about Raw there are just so many things going on in the WWE right now and I mean so many things that there won’t be enough room to give you my Raw thoughts. Let’s see we have Taboo Tuesday tonight, so I would like to give you my predictions, we have one of my favorite wrestlers leaving WWE, a diva that reportedly was released, however that might not be the case, Stone Cold Austin might have just done it again and finally if JR isn’t coming back there is someone that is working Taboo Tuesday tonight that excites me, and just might be JR’s replacement. So as much as I would love to make this all about Raw, Vince has just made things way to interesting for me to do that.
I’ll say this for the most part I liked Raw a lot. I found the Conway/Eugene match the weakest part of the show. And maybe it’s just me but I think Vince his over doing it by bringing back some of the “legends.” Maybe I feel that way since Vader looked like he swallowed most of Anaheim. When he fell I didn’t know if I should laugh or send him to a gym for a good workout. While Goldust had something so good when he teamed up with Booker T a few years ago, I’m not so sure just bringing him in as Coach’s bodyguard is really such a smart idea. And then you have Kamala, Snuka and Hacksaw Duggan each hoping to be voted in as Eugene’s tag team partner and I just wonder if this means that much to most fans. I think Vince has lost his way. He’s bringing back the veterans, and not giving a lot of the current talent a vote of confidence. But I was very happy with Hunter taking out big Viscera. I thought Hunter looked believable out there as the guy that wants to take out Ric Flair tonight as brutally as he can. Ric was only on for a few minutes but got his point across that he’s done kissing Hunter’s ass and WOOOOOO vote for a Cage Match. I also liked the video showcasing the history between Hunter and Ric Flair. The main event was good thanks to Shawn Michaels. I’m just so not into Cena’s wrestling. I’m having a hard time really focusing solely on him. Kurt Angle and Tajiri had a good opener and Kurt each week is coming off like a totally different Angle. In fact his appearance even seems different, more bulky and really nasty looking. The women’s Halloween costume contest was okay I’m just waiting for Mickie James to turn on Trish. I liked that this Trish “stalker” dressed up like Trish for the segment. And I really enjoyed watching Big Show and Kane one up each other against the Heart-throbs. This was one segment that had me laughing. It was nice to see Kane moving around so well from his so called “broken back.” So all in all a good show. But let me give you the latest and I do mean the latest.
I have just read that Stone Cold Steve Austin according to some did not leave the company like so many rumors had him doing yesterday. It was reported that over the weekend Austin was told that he would lose to Coach thanks to help from Mark Henry. Austin was supposedly very much against this and was fighting it all the way. So naturally when the match changed last night to Batista vs. Coach, I figured that’s it Austin walked out again. But now one site is reporting and remember it’s a RUMOR, that he moved furniture and injured his back. He is supposedly immobilized, but then that’s what was being said about Kane. So now I don’t know what is true, but with this comes the latest on WWE.com, that Joey Styles is calling Taboo Tuesday tonight with Lawler. From all reports again these are rumors, Coach has failed as the main announcer and Vince never had intentions of bringing JR back. It looks like there’s a good chance Joey will be the new WWE Raw announcer. Also tonight’s match with Batista vs. Coach will have nothing to do with JR at all. I miss JR a lot, but I’m a fan of Joey’s announcing and Raw definitely needs him to keep things exciting. Okay next rumor, this was big yesterday. Torrie Wilson according to many was released by the WWE. Her picture was removed from the ad for last night’s Raw and for tonight’s Taboo Tuesday. Well if you go to WWE.com they have something posted. Basically that Torrie had to go home for some personal business and that she has not been released. I told you things have been extremely interesting over at WWE headquarters. But the one thing that seems to be very true is that Christian quit. He gave his notice and if he is voted in tonight he will work the match but that will be it. I guess all along I knew his days were numbered. This is something that I have mentioned many times in my column. This guy had it on the mic and in the ring, and yet more and more we saw him getting pinned and his mic work practically stopped. I am going to miss this guy a lot, but like so many others I see him going to TNA and getting that TV time that he so deserves. It’s ashame that once again Vince pushes guys that haven’t got half the talent that Christian has. Well as I said he’ll be missed especially by me. Okay finally let me quickly give you my picks for tonight. Since we don’t know most of the stips or who will be wrestling certain matches, I’m just going to list whom I believe will win. So here I go, and let me tell you this card isn’t as predictable like so many are.
Winners: Ric Flair, The Smackdown guys over Edge and Masters, Rob Conway and Tomko, Mickie James, John Cena, Coach, Carlito and I see Cade and Murdoch beating Kane and Big Show.
