Smackdown just had their No Mercy pay per view and it is time for the next episode of Smackdown as we build to Survivor Series. What will happen between Eddie Guerrero and Batista? Will we see Booker T and Booker She (or Charmin [trademark Dave Scherer]) have further marital problems because Booker T was a loser . . . loser at No Mercy? Will we see the new cruiserweight champion? Will we find out how the Undertaker is doing? What will Ken Kennedy do?
Tonight’s show begins with highlights from No Mercy
We are live on tape from San Antonio, Texas and your announcers are Tazz and Michael ‘When the Saints come marching in’ Cole.
Randy Orton and Cowboy Bob Orton come to the ring to start things off. Randy and Bob hug in the ring before Randy gets the mic. He says that on Sunday at No Mercy, he did the impossible. He destroyed the legend of the Undertaker. He beat him down, stuffed him in the casket, and set his ass on fire. A fifteen year legacy is gone, dead, buried, and burned. He has a question for everyone in the crowd. He suggests that some people circled their calendars to see the Undertaker. Randy wants to know how they feel, knowing that they will never see the Undertaker again, thanks to Randy Orton. Randy tells Taker to rest in peace. The next thing for the Legend Killer is to once again become the World Heavyweight Champion. Eddie Guerrero’s music plays and he comes to the ring. Eddie has a mic and he is going to talk. Randy wants to know what Eddie is doing out here. Randy says that he wants some advice from Eddie on how to beat Batista. He will listen to Eddie and do the opposite. Eddie says that Randy is real funny. Eddie says that Randy has it down pretty good as Eddie reclines on the top turnbuckle. Randy says that it looks like the mighty have fallen. Eddie lost his match. Randy won and he used a steel chair. Eddie did not use a chair. Did he get some respect from Batista? Eddie is told that if he does not leave the ring, he will get an RKO. Eddie tells Randy to give him an RKO and see what happens. Eddie says that he is not done with Batista, and he wants one more shot at Batista’s title. Randy says that he has no beef with Eddie. Randy tells Eddie that he is going to the back to find Teddy Long and demand a title match against Batista. Batista’s music plays and he comes to the ring. Eddie gives Batista his mic so the champ can speak. Batista says that his old friend Randy Orton and his new amigo Eddie Guerrero are in the same ring with him. Batista says that he cannot decide who the number one contender for the title is, but he got a good idea. Batista suggests that Eddie and Randy wrestle tonight to determine who the number one contender is. Batista suggests to Teddy that the fans have spoken, so it should be Eddie Guerrero versus Randy Orton tonight. We go to commercial.
We are back for our first match, Chris Benoit versus Orlando Jordan for the United States Championship. Before the match we hear comments from Orlando Jordan where Orlando talks about how he has been embarrassed by Chris Benoit. He now knows every counter to the Crippler Crossface. Orlando says that if Benoit makes him tap one more time, he will quit the business. Orlando backs into the ropes to avoid Benoit. Benoit goes for the arm, but Orlando is able to get to the corner. Orlando with a kick and elbow to Benoit followed by a slam and shoulder tackle. Benoit blocks a hip toss and Benoit sets up for the Crippler Crossface, but Orlando is able to escape the hold. Orlando rolls out of the ring and sends Benoit into the ring steps. Orlando rolls Benoit back in and gets a two count. Orlando with kicks to Benoit and then hits a knee to Benoit off an Irish whip. Benoit chops Orlando, but Orlando responds with a punch. Benoit with more chops, but Orlando with a knee followed by an abdominal stretch and Benoit makes it to the ropes. Orlando with an Irish whip and he connects with a clothesline into the corner. Orlando with another Irish whip, but Benoit moves when Jordan charges. Benoit with two rolling German suplexes, but then he tries for the Crippler Crossface. Orlando is able to prevent Benoit from applying the Crossface. Benoit with the Sharpshooter and Orlando taps out.
Winner: Chris Benoit
After the match, Benoit stands over Orlando and shows Orlando the title belt.
Teddy Long and Palmer Canon are in the HollaOffice and they talk about Benoit’s victory. From out of nowhere, Charmin [trademark Dave Scherer] enters the HollaOffice. She wants to know why Orlando Jordan got a title match. Booker had the title taken from him at No Mercy. Teddy says that Sharmell is right. Booker will be in a match against Christian, Bradshaw, and Rey Mysterio Junior in a Fatal Four Way match. The winner gets a United States Title match next week on Smackdown. Sharmell complains that the match should be one-on-one.
We go to the back where Christy is leading the OLD [Animal and Heidenreich] (trademark Buck Woodward) to the ring for an eight man tag match and we go to commercial.
We are back with the Smack of the Night: Juventud Guerrera defeating Nunzio to win the Cruiserweight title at No Mercy.
It is time for our next match, William Regal, Paul Burchill, and MNM (Johnny ‘Plain’ Nitro and Joey ‘Peanut’ Mercury [trademarks Dave Scherer] {with ‘Almonds’ Melina [trademark me]} versus OLD (Animal and HeidenHawk with {Christy Hemme} [trademark Buck Woodward]), Psicosis and Super Crazy (with Juventud Guerrera) We see footage of Christy Hemme hitting the Doomsday Device on Melina at No Mercy. Burchill, Regal, and MNM attack Heidenreich and Animal before Crazy and Psicosis can make it to the ring. MNM, Burchill, and Regal go outside the ring to regroup. Mercury slams Psicosis’s head into the turnbuckle. Mercury with an Irish whip, but Psicosis with a spin kick off the second rope. Psicosis misses a drop kick when Mercury holds on to the ropes. Melina gets on the apron to distract Psicosis. Christy gets on the apron to distract Mercury. Mercury tries for a belly-to-back suplex, but Psicosis lands on his feet. Nitro with a knee to Psicosis’s back as he comes off the ropes. Mercury with a clothesline to Psicosis. Mercury punches Psicosis in the head before tagging in Regal. Regal kicks Psicosis and then punches him in the head followed by knees. Nitro tags in and punches Psicosis followed by European uppercuts. Nitro with kicks in the corner and then he distracts the ref to allow his tag team partners to triple team Psicosis. Burchill tags in and hits a short arm clothesline. Psicosis with punches to Burchill, but Burchill runs Psicosis into the corner. Burchill with a front face lock, but Psicosis tries to get to his corner, but Burchill returns him to his corner. Mercury tags in and slams Psicosis before goes up to the second turnbuckle, but he misses a punch from the turnbuckle. Mercury slaps Psicosis, but Psicosis with an enzuigiri. Animal tags in and he hits a running clothesline in the corner on Mercury followed by a back body drop to Nitro and a power slam to Mercury. Animal ducks a clothesline from Burchill and Heidenreich with a big boot while Animal punches Regal off the apron. Heidenreich with a clothesline that sends Nitro over the top rope to the floor. Christy and Juventud signal for the Doomsday Device. Heidenreich goes up, but Regal pulls him off the turnbuckles. Animal with a belly-to-back suplex on Mercury and then he tags in Super Crazy for a springboard moonsault for the three count.

After the match, the Mexicools celebrate in the ring. From out of nowhere, two men come into the ring and attack the Mexicools. They throw Guerrera out of the ring and then hit a modified double Samoan drop to Super Crazy. They hit a Death Sentence on Psicosis. We go to commercial.
We are back and it is time for the Peep Show with Christian. Christian says that he will become the number one contender for the United States Championship. First, there is some controversy brewing so it is time to bring out his guest, Stacy Keibler. Christian has a copy of The Star. He wants to get the answers and all of the juicy details. Christian says that he always thought that Stacy was a bit of a tramp. He wants to know what it was like to fool around with Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend. She says that he did not fool around with Jennifer’s boyfriend. Then she denied that he was her boyfriend. Christian says that he wants answers. Before Stacy can answer, Jillian Hall comes to the ring and takes the mic. Jillian tells Stacy that she has a golden opportunity. Jillian says that a scandal can do a lot for a career. There is no shame losing your boyfriend to someone like Jennifer Aniston. Jillian says that Jennifer is a huge star. Stacy asks Jillian if she wants to be her publicist. Stacy says that she wants to hear a story from Jillian. Stacy wants to know what is on her face. Jillian tries to punch Stacy, but Stacy blocks it. Stacy slaps Jillian and then leaves the ring. We go to commercial.
We are back and it is time for our next match, Christian versus Bradshaw (with JBLimo) versus Booker T (with Sharmell/Booker She/Charmin) versus Rey Mysterio Junior
Booker punches Christian while Bradshaw punches Rey. Bradshaw throws Rey under the ropes to the floor. Booker punches Bradshaw and Christian and then Booker sends Christian over the top rope to the floor. Booker with a back body drop to Bradshaw followed by a chop and tries for the ‘Punches of Ten’, but Christian with a hot shot after four. Bradshaw kicks Booker out of the ring, but Rey with a springboard seated senton on Bradshaw for a two count. Christian punches Rey, but Rey with a drop kick to Christian’s knees. Rey with a wheelbarrow, but Bradshaw throws Rey down. Bradshaw punches Christian and then Bradshaw catches Christian on a cross body attempt. Bradshaw with a fallaway slam, but when he gets up Bradshaw is met with a missile drop kick from Booker. Booker punches Christian and hits a spin kick for a two count broken up by Rey. Booker punches Christian, but Christian with a thumb to the eyes and then Christian sends Booker over the top rope to the floor and Booker knocks Bradshaw down. Christian gets Rey on his shoulders and then hits a gutbuster. Christian with a hard Irish whip to Rey followed by a gourdbuster. Christian with a baseball slide to Bradshaw followed by a cover on Rey. Christian gets Rey up on his shoulders for an apparent Electric Chair drop, but Bradshaw comes in and while Bradshaw punches Christian, Rey punches Bradshaw. Rey with a rana on Christian for a two count and the save is made by Bradshaw. Bradshaw with a swinging neck breaker to Rey as we go to commercial.
We are back and Bradshaw has Rey set for a fallaway slam, but Rey counters with a DDT and all four men are down. Rey covers Bradshaw, but Christian breaks up the cover. Christian punches Bradshaw, but Bradshaw with a shoulder tackle on Christian and Rey before kicking Booker. Bradshaw with a suplex to Christian for a two count. Bradshaw punches Christian and then hits a big boot on Booker that knocks him off the apron to the floor. Bradshaw with a running boot and elbow drops to Christian for a two count. Bradshaw gets ready for the Clothesline from Wall Street, but Booker with a kick to Bradshaw’s back as he comes off the ropes followed by a drop kick from Rey that knocks Bradshaw out of the ring. Christian gets Rey up for a suplex and then drops Rey on the top rope. Outside the ring, Booker sends Bradshaw into the ring steps. Booker with punches to Christian followed by a flying forearm and clothesline. Booker with a sunset flip for a two count followed by a kick and he tries for the scissors kick, but Christian moves out of the way. Christian with an inverted DDT, but Rey breaks up the cover with a springboard leg drop that hits Booker when Christian moves out of the way. Rey with the cover. Bradshaw with the Clothesline from Wall Street on Christian that knocks him out of the ring. Rey with a rollup on Bradshaw for a two count. Bradshaw with a kick and forearm to Rey and then he backs Rey into the corner. Bradshaw punches Rey and Booker. Booker with a jumping side kick to Bradshaw when Rey ducks. Rey with a drop toe hold that sends Booker into the ropes. Rey tries for the 619, but Charmin trips Rey. Booker with a scissors kick on Rey for the three count. We go to commercial.

We are back and The Bookers are in the back. Sharmell is happy that Booker won. Booker cannot wait to become the United States champion again. Chris Benoit comes by and says that he is looking forward to next week, but he hopes the same thing will not happen to him that happened to Rey. Benoit tells Booker that Sharmell helped Booker win the match. Booker will hear none of that. Sharmell tells Booker that Benoit is scared of him. We see footage of the finish of the Fatal Four Way match.
Ken Kennedy comes to the ring and he stops Tony Chimmel from doing the ring announcement as he gets the microphone from the ceiling. Ken announces that he now weighs 245 pounds. Ken says that he has no opponent tonight because every man in the locker room is too afraid to come out and face him. He will not deny the people, the honor, the privilege, and the pleasure to experience first hand, Mr. Kennedy . . . KENNEDY!
Time for a Raw Rebound showing Jim Ross being fired by Linda ‘Mrs. Excitement’ McMahon. We go to commercial.
We are back and time for our next match, Bobby Lashley versus Nunzio (with Vito). Nunzio tries to attack Lashley while Vito distracts him, but Lashley grabs Nunzio and runs him into the turnbuckle. Lashley with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Lashley presses Nunzio over his head and slams him to the floor. Lashley goes outside the ring and rolls Nunzio back in. Vito attacks Lashley, but Lashley with a clothesline to Vito. Nunzio tries for a drop kick to Nunzio, but it has no effect. Nunzio comes off the second turnbuckle, but Lashley catches him and hits a back breaker. Lashley sends Nunzio into Vito on the apron before hitting the Dominator for the three count.

Teddy Long and Palmer Canon talk about Bobby Lashley. Palmer talks about the new talent, and mentions the Boogeyman. He mentions that there is a multiyear deal for the man who played the Boogeyman. There is a knock at the door and the Boogeyman enters. Teddy has no idea what to do with him. The Boogeyman starts a nursery rhyme and then pulls out a clock and says that the time is drawing near. He tells us to be very afraid because you are about to face your demons. Then he breaks the clock over his head. He says that he is coming to get you. Teddy says that the Boogeyman looks like he might have some potential. We go to commercial.
We are back with the same No Mercy recap that started off the show and the reminder that there are replays throughout the week.
It is time for our main event, Randy Orton (with Cowboy Bob Orton) versus Eddie Guerrero. Randy and Eddie prepare to lock up, but Orton backs into the corner. Orton and Guerrero with a collar and elbow tie up into a deadlock. Orton with a side head lock, but Eddie with a forearm followed by a drop kick and a cover for a two count. Eddie with forearms to Orton followed by a hard Irish whip. Orton with an eye poke to Guerrero followed by a belly-to-back suplex for a two count. Orton with a side head lock take down and a side head lock on the mat. Eddie with a rollup for a two count, but Orton holds on to the side head lock. Eddie backs Orton into the corner and Eddie with an eye poke of his own on a break. Eddie slams Orton’s head into the turnbuckle and then chokes Orton with the tag rope. Eddie runs his boot over Orton’s face before hitting Latino uppercuts for a two count. Eddie sets up for the Three Amigos Suplex combo, but Bob gets on the apron after the first one. Eddie with an Irish whip, but Randy moves out of the way when Eddie charges into the corner. Randy with a drop kick and Eddie goes to the floor as we go to commercial.
We are back and Randy has Eddie in a side head lock. Orton with a back breaker from the side head lock. Orton with a knee drop to Eddie followed by a reverse chin lock. Eddie with punches to Orton’s ribs followed by a back breaker to Orton and both men are down. Eddie charges at Orton, but Randy moves and Eddie hits his throat on the middle rope. Randy with a number of near falls. Orton with punches to Guerrero, but the referee admonishes Randy. Guerrero with punches, but Orton with a kick and a European uppercut before sending Eddie out of the ring. Orton goes out after Eddie and slams Eddie’s head into the announce table twice. Orton tries a third time, but Eddie blocks it and sends Orton into the announce table. Orton sends Eddie into the ring steps before they return to the ring. Eddie gets his foot on the rope to stop the referee’s count. Orton with a sleeper. Eddie tries for the ropes, but Bob pulls the rope away from Eddie’s grasp. The ref checks Eddie’s arm and it stays up on the third attempt by the ref. Eddie recovers and he connects with elbows to Orton followed by punches and Orton goes down. Eddie with a kick and it is time for the Three Amigos Hip Twisting Vertical suplex combo. Eddie goes up top, but Bob gets on the apron. Eddie with a kick to Bob. Eddie goes up, but Bob throws Eddie off the turnbuckle. The ref calls for the bell.

After the match, Bob and Randy attack Eddie. Randy holds Eddie while Bob punches him. Batista comes out and he punches Bob and Randy before the Ortons leave the ring. Batista helps Eddie up and Batista raises Eddie’s arm. Teddy Long (with the walk of the swinging arms) comes out. Teddy says that it looks like they can finally get along. Next week we will have a tag team match as Eddie Guerrero and Batista will face The Ortons. We go to credits.
