What you all have been waiting for has finally come! Ted DiBiase’s Power Wrestling Alliance finally makes a triumphant New York debut at the 3,000 seat Upper Room World Center. An event of this magnitude has not come to the NY area ever, and is gearing up to be one of the most talked about nights in pro wrestling. The event date is Friday, November 11th at 7:30 PM. The address is 722 Deer Park Ave in Dix Hills, NY 11746. Information for this event, and the September 23rd event, can be heard by calling Bobby Riedel at 631-242-5359 ext. 329. Media Requests can also be made at this number. Tickets for the Nov 11, P.W.A. event go on sale Friday night Sept. 23 at 7:30 PM at the “Rock and Wrestle” event taking place at the same location. The September 23rd event is a FREE event, so no need to purchase tickets….come out and be one of the first on line to secure your spot for November 11, 2005!!!
Complete with lights, smoke, special effects, and a powerful drama…not to mention WWE ICON SHAWN MICHAELS, THE BIG SHOW, TED DIBIASE!!! The first ever PWA Ladies Match will also make history featuring Luna Vachon, and a very special Championship Ladder Match featuring Johnny Ova w/Bobby Riedel taking on Teddy Hart. Also on the card is “The Dream Team” Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake v. Tito Santana and Hacksaw Jim Duggan. The Valentine/Santana feud stillligers to this day! In a very rare appearance, “Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake will be hosting his famous “Barber Shop” segment. His guest is none other than SHAWN MICAELS…and we all remember what happened last time Shawn stepped into the Barber Shop! Kamala and Doink The Clown will also be on hand. A special guest referee is also being talked about. Many surprises will be instore for this event.
Following the event, there WILL BE a time for autographs. All this and so much more for as low as $10 per ticket, but those seats will go fast. Other ticket prices are available. All I know is that “The Big Show” requested to be at this event. Not much is known as to why, but I am sure that this fan favorite has his reasons. Stay tuned….
He’s feuded with Jerry Lawler, Crush, and Bam Bam Bigelow. Last we saw of him, there were chants of “Kill the Clown”. With 3,000 fans in attendance, WHY he would want to “play games” is beyond me!
Ted Hart…a member of “The Hart Foundation”, will bring his Calgary knowledge to NY as he takes on the multi-talented Johnny Ova…with of course, Bobby Riedel…”The Agent to the Stars”. The two are known as “The Agenda” and have traveled the U.S. and Canada stating, “We have had a secret agenda from day one…and you never saw it coming”. Known to be the PWA’s Ladder Match expert (having past feuds with Chris Sabin and Petey Williams for the PWA Cruiserweight Championship), Johnny claims he and Bobby will let their secret out on Nov 11 against Ted Hart. Ted Hart, no stranger to plots against his life, stated that the only reason he is not the PWA Champion right now is due to the fact that “The Agenda” has avoided his invitations on numerous other events in Canada. He says, “Bret Hart taught me a lot about people who can TALK a big game. Now I’m here to silence them”.
Its been a feud for the record books. Tito Santana on one side, and Greg Valentine on the other. These two have had noting but issues from day one. 20 years later….there still at it! Tito decided to bring Hacksaw Jim Duggan as his tag partner to keep justice as Greg Valentine picked his former tag team partner, Brutus Beefcake. The two held the WWE Tag Team Championships known as “The Dream Team”. Will past history as a team prove to be enough against the beloved Hacksaw and Santana??
A match that has NEVER happened before is always set to be interestng. The PWA has sanctioned a match featuring Luna Vachon. Luna is not only one of the toughest women ever in pro wrestling, but is also one of the weirdest. Having managed Kevin Sullivan, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Goldust, Luna is a ring expert. Her feud with Sable was also one of the most bitter rivalries she has ever had. Her opponent on the 11th, can be anyone from Sherri Martel to Moolah to one of the more younger grapplers of todays indy scene. Will coming out of the famed “Vachon Family” out smart this mystery lady??
Blast and Kamala have feuded all over the globe. From Europe to India to the states. It seems like Blast will continue to go after the giant Kamala. Kimchi will reside in Kamala’s corner to make sure his man does not get distracted in his quest to rid once and for all, Blast! Both men, 300 plus pounds are bringing everything they got.
