Friday Night SmackDown! comes to us from the Frank Irwin Center in Austin , Texas .
SmackDown! opens with a video package recapping the brawl between Raw and SmackDown!
Theodore Long and Palmer Cannon are in the ring. Teddy tells us that we will see the Six Man Tag Team Match that Bischoff wouldn’t allow on RAW this past Monday. Teddy is about to add something on to what he was talking about then is interrupted by Palmer. Palmer says the network approved of the SmackDown! attack on RAW and gives him the go ahead to do so again. Teddy invites RAW to come to No Mercy if they wanted pay back saying if RAW wanted to start it, SmackDown! would be happy to finish it.
Randy Orton’s music plays and out comes Randy and “Cowboy” Bob Orton. Orton says that Teddy didn’t do anything at RAW. Randy says he interrupted Piper’s Pit to make an impact and he is interrupting SmackDown! and tells Teddy and Palmer to leave .Teddy is about to say something to Orton, but Palmer cut him off saying let the future of SmackDown! have the floor to talk about whatever he wants. Randy says at No Mercy that he and his father would beat down the Undertaker and put him in the casket to end the legend of The Undertaker. He also adds that he will be making a sacrifice out of another legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper later on. Bob takes the mic and says what Randy said on RAW Monday was true and although they had good times in the past with Piper, Randy is family. Piper comes out with a pipe and beats down Bob and Randy. Bob and Randy escape to the outside as we head to the break.
Booker T w/ Sharmell vs. Orlando Jordan
Sharmell is in the ring as we return from the break. She introduces the “Next United States Champion” Booker T. Jordan comes out and during his entrance Tazz and Michael Cole hype the Fatal Four way United States Title match at No Mercy. Jordan and Booker lock up and the fans chant “You Tapped Out!” to Jordan . Orlando cheap shots Booker to get the advantage and throw Booker Into the ropes and gives a shoulder block to Booker. Booker gets the upper hand with some chops to the chest. Jordan gives Booker a thumb to the eye. Jordan hits a clothesline into the corner and Booker is sent to the outside. Jordan grabs a chair but Booker prevents him from using it. Orlando is about to suplex Booker back into the ring, but Sharmell grabs Jordan ’s leg and allows Booker to fall on top for the 3 count. Your Winner: Booker T. Booker looks at the Titantron and looks at what his wife did and isn’t happy, but after 10 seconds seems happy.
Mr. Kennedy comes out for commentary for the next match. Cole announces that Mr. Kennedy will face Hardcore Holly at No Mercy. Kennedy does his intro bit then goes to the announce position.
Sylvan vs. Hardcore Holly
Sylvan is out then outcomes Holly. A video shows the history from two weeks ago on SmackDown!. Sylvan attacks Hardcore from behind to start the match. Sylvan throws Holly into the corner and follows up with a knee to the gut. During the match Kennedy calls Hardcore Holly Sparky Plug and Cole reminds him that was a long time ago. Hardcore gets back in it with chops to the chest and follows up with a suplex for a 2 count. The action spills to the outside and Kennedy is standing up commenting on his seat being right in the middle of the action. Holly talks trash to Kennedy and pushes him down. Kennedy remains cool for now as Hardcore throw Sylvan back into the ring.. Kennedy grabs a mic and after Holly hits his Kick to the abdomen on Sylvan. Kennedy hits Holly with mic when Sylvan had the ref’s attention. Sylvan hits a suplex into a DDT for the win.
You Winner: Sylvan.
Kennedy announces Hardcore Holly as the loser.
Josh Matthews interviews Piper. Piper gives a little history on Bob Orton saying he wasn’t bright and he is a little slow. He says who has the handicap as we fade to a commercial.

LOD w/ Christy Hemme vs. William Regal and Paul Burchill.
Tag Champs come out then Regal and Burchill. Animal and Burchill start things off as Animal throws Burchill down which then Burchill tags in Regal. Regal throws Animal into the corner Burchill hits a sling shot to Animal Animals Arm. Burchill then throws Animal intro the turnbuckle post. Regal then throws Animal into the barricade. Burchill continues to work on the arm. Animal hits a back body drop then tags in Heidenreich. Heidenreich delivers a body slams on Burchill and throws Regal over the top. Animal sets up Burchill for the Doomsday Device. Christy is on the apron directing traffic when Melina comes down and starts beating her up. MNM hit the ring hitting Animal and then knocking Heidenreich off the top rope. MNM focuses their attention to Christy as Melina signals them to giver Christy the Snap Shot. LOD is late for the save as MNM escape the ring when LOD comes in with chairs.

Steve Romero catches up with Eddie Guerrero. Steve asks him about last week in which Eddie responds that he doesn’t want to talk about SmackDown! last week instead wants to talk about RAW. He tells us that he will show us next that he is a changed man.
Eddie Guerrero hits the ring for a promo. He says he is the new and improved Eddie Guerrero which the fans boo. Says he is the #1 Contender and yet again the crowd seems to be booing him. He shows the video from RAW saying he had Batista’s back and whatever happens Sunday he and Batista will still be friends. Batista comes out and comes into the ring. Batista brings up last week on SmackDown! when Eddie hit him with a chair and questions him if it was really an accident. Eddie seems upset with Batista Eddie says he thought Batista was just like him, someone who didn’t play by the rules. Eddie says what happened last week was an accident as he was going to hit Mercury but hit Batista instead. Eddie was about to leave but Batista said to wait a second. Batista wants to be believe that Eddie is a changed man ,but said he had to grow eyes in the back of his head when he was in Evolution and told Eddie that he is always watching him. Batista told Eddie that if he turned his back on him he would hurt him. Eddie understands and says Sunday he will prove he is a changed man.

Handicap Match
Randy Orton and “Cowboy” Bob Orton vs. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
Randy tries to attack Piper, but Hot Rod is able to gain the advantage. Piper bites the head of Randy and eye gauges him. Randy tags in Bob Orton . Piper does the same stuff to Bob as he did with Randy- Tag to Randy. Randy gets in and hits a dropkick on Piper. Randy follows up choking Piper then giving Piper clubs to the chest. Randy then hits a knee drop then sets up for the RKO, but Bob tells Randy he wants the pin. Bob gets ready to drop an elbow when Taker’s music comes out. The Orton’s look around, but no Deadman. Bob hits the elbow then the music comes on again. While Randy and Bob look around, Piper rolls up Bob Orton for the win.
Your Winner: “Rowdy” Roddy Piper
Druids are walking a “Yokozuna” sized casket down the aisle. Taker comes on the titan tron and says that if the Orton’s aren’t afraid of caskets why not look into the casket. The casket had a Randy Orton and Bob Orton body’s that looked exactly like them. They were shocked by this and when the lights went out Taker was behind him. The Orton’s escaped the ring fast and was still shocked about what they saw.
Bobby Lashley vs. Eddie Craven?
It was hard to tell who Bobby Lashley was facing as no graphic for his opponent was given, only his name. Simon Dean came out after Lashley entrance and said he would win due to his conditioning and thanks Lashley for breaking his hand last week. Dean says he would do Squats during his match. Lashley attack Craven and picks him up and drives him into the corner. Lashley then does squats of his own with Craven on his back. Lashley hits an underhook samba suplex on Craven. Dean tries to grab Lashley leg but Lashley steps on his broken hand. Lashley then hits his gutwrench Dominator type finisher for the win.

Main Event
Six Man Tag Team Match:
JBL, Christian, and Eddie Guerrero vs. Batista, Rey Mysterio and Chris Benoit
Introductions then we hit a commercial. We start the match with Benoit and Christian locked up with Benoit delivering a shoulder knockdown following with a chop and suplex. Benoit ties for the Crossface, but Christian gets to the ropes and tags in Guerrero. Eddie and Benoit do a test of strength which Eddie head butts Benoit then a back arch before Benoit attempts to breakout then Guerrero does a head scissors take down. Batista tags himself in. Eddie tries to take Batista down by his legs, but is over powered. Eddie attempts a waist lock only to be overpowered again. Eddie tags in JBL and Batista tags in Rey. JBL throws Rey into the ropes and gets control with a shoulder block. Rey comes back with a dropkick to the knee. Rey goes to the apron and gets distracted by Eddie as JBL knocked him to the outside as we head to a commercial.
Back from the break Christian is now in control of Rey as they have been working him over during the break. Christian gives Rey a gut buster and then puts Rey into an Abdominal Stretch. Rey elbows out and tries a springboard cross body, but misses. Christian tags in JBL. Eddie holds the tights allowing JBL to pummel him in the corner while the ref holds back Batista and Benoit. JBL hits a suplex for a 2 count then forces a tag onto Eddie. Eddie is beating up on Rey and drops an elbow. Rey hits a bulldog and both are down. Eddie crawls to the corner to tag JBL then Rey tags Batista. Batista starts cleaning house with a back body drop to JBL. Blind tag, Christian tags in and JBL is going for the Clothesline from Hell when Eddie pulls the rope and JBL falls to the outside. Christian jumps from the top rope right into a Batista spine buster and the win.
Your Winners: Batista, Chris Benoit, and Rey Mysterio.
Afterwards Eddie is celebrating with Batista. JBL and Christian attack Batista and Eddie afterwards. Batista is sent to the outside which allows a double team on Eddie. Batista makes the save. Batista stares at Guerrero to end SmackDown!
