Yesterday night was the first of three nights in the NWA 57th Annual Convention. Below are the results of the card:
1) Representing NWA Indy, Scott Murray defeated Chad Allegra.
2) Representing NWA Green Mountain, NWA New England Tag Team champions the Vachon Brothers (Pierre “the Beast”/Damien “the Pit Bull”) defeated Green Mountain Tag Team Champions Really Sensational (“Real Deal” Jay Davis/”Sensational” Sean Reed).
3) Representing NWA Main Event, LA Player (w/YT) defeated “Mr. Saturday Night” Michael Barry.
4) Representing Ultimate NWA Alabama, TC Carnage defeated Cabana Man Dan.
5) Representing NWA South Atlantic, Roadblock Rex defeated CJ Connor.
6) Representing NWA Mid-West in a mixed tag tea match, TJ Dalton/Daizee Haze defeated Delirious/MsChif.
7) Representing NWA Top Rope, NWA World Tag Team champion Andy Douglas of the Naturals defeated “Wild Eyed Southern Boy” Tracy Smothers.
In six man tag team action: NWA North American champion JT Wolfen and the Big Islanders (Makua/Kotoky)defeated Mark Moment, Larry Huntley and Sonny Roselli.
9) Representing NWA Heatwave, A Man Named Rouge defeated Crazyfist.
10) Representing NWA Ireland, Fergal Devitt and NWA UK Heavyweight champion Paul Tracy defeated Phil “The Thrill” Boyd and Sean Brennan.
11) Representing NWA Main Event, “Headliner” Chris Michaels defeated Mid-America Heavyweight champion “Mean” Mike Woods.
12) In a Steel Cage match, NWA World Tag Team champion Chase Stevens defeated Big Bully Douglas to become the new NWA Top Rope Southern Heavyweight champion.
In attendance were Bill Behrens and members of the new NWA magazine that is set to debut in 2006.
The convention continues tonight and tommorrow with more title matches from NWA brances all across the country.
