The pyro goes off and we welcome you to Laredo, Texas for Friday Night SmackDown just north of the Mexican Border.
First out tonight is John Bradshaw Layfield complete with sombrero and a donkey. JBL walks to the ring with a rubber inner tube and the Mexican National flag. Michael Cole and Tazz remark how disrespectful this display is to all Mexican-Americans. JBL grabs the microphone and begins with a hearty “Como Esta, amigos.” JBL does this because he says most of the fans in attendance cannot speak English. He threatens to call the INS to clean out the arena. Layfield continues to berate the crowd, making off color references to Laredo. The crowd begins a very loud a**hole chant. JBL holds up jumper cables that he said he got while visiting Rey Mysterio’s uncle. He then says he took 28 of Rey’s relatives rafting during the night. He then leaves the ring and approaches the donkey. He references the donkey’s mouth, stating that is what he has to feed when immigrants illegally come to the US. He then goes to the back of the donkey, and says this is what he thinks of the people of Laredo. JBL then introduces his tag team partner, Kennedy. Kennedy approaches the donkey and calls the donkey “Tony Chimmel”. He says Chimmel looks good, but he could smell him all through the building today. As far as Chimmel’s announcing, Kennedy says Chimmel still sucks. JBL applauds Kennedy. Kennedy enters the ring. A microphone drops from the ceiling, the house lights go down, and Kennedy introduces himself and his tale of the tape to the crowd. Rey Mysterio’s music plays and Rey intensely comes to the ring. A replay of Rey vs. Kennedy from last week plays showing JBL’s interference assisting Kennedy to the victory. Mysterio’s partner, Hardcore Holly is introduced as we go to commercial.
JBL/Ken Kennedy vs. Rey Mysterio/Hardcore Holly: The match begins with Rey performing the Mexican Hat Dance around JBL’s sombrero. He then immediately attacks Kennedy. After a few seconds, Kennedy reverses and takes control. Rey tries to attack Kennedy and Layfield, but to no avail. JBL is tagged in and lays punches to Mysterio’s head. JBL slams Rey, comes off the ropes, and Hardcore Holly kicks JBL in the back. Holly is tagged in, and immediately begins with an onslaught of chops. Cover and a count of two on JBL. Rey is tagged back in, and delivers kicks to JBL’s midsection. JBL hits Rey with a shot and tags in Kennedy. Rey reverses Kennedy into the ropes, and attempts the 619, but JBL pulls Rey to the outside. Layfield assaults Mysterio with the flag, and Kennedy comes outside to join the attack. Both men are back inside, and Kennedy goes for a cover. After a two count, JBL is tagged back in. JBL methodically works Mysterio, and hits a second rope fall away slam. JBL locks in a bear hug on Rey. As Rey begins to fade, the crowd comes alive and Rey bites JBL on the head. Hold is broken, and Kennedy is tagged back in. Kennedy covers for two, and sends Rey into the corner. Kennedy charges and Rey raises his feet into Kennedy’s face. Both men slowly work up and tag. Hardcore Holly is a house of fire. Backdrops to both opponents. Holly sends Kennedy out over the top rope with a clothesline. He attempts the Alabama Slam on JBL, but Kennedy tries to make the save. Mysterio nails Kennedy with an over the tope rope 619. A melee ensues, all four men mixing it up. JBL nails Holly with the Clothesline from Hell out of nowhere for the three count. Kennedy announces the winning team and we see the replay.

We see a preview for the Undertaker vs. Bob Orton Jr. and Animal/Heidenreich vs. Batista/Eddie Guerrero matches for later tonight. We see what happened last week with Batista, Eddie and the doctor prior to their match. Eddie said he didn’t feel well last Thursday, and Batista offered to get him a doctor. The doctor did little to help Eddie with his weak stomach. Then footage is shown of Batista/Eddie Guerrero victorious over MNM later that night.
We are back with Eddie Guerrero enjoying some Mexican food. He is really enjoying his meal when Batista enters. Eddie apologizes for last week, feeling he let down Batista. He promises this will never happen again. Eddie and Batista will become great friends, and WWE Tag Team Champions. Batista asks if Eddie should be eating the food, because of what happened last week. Batista offers to help and takes the food for himself, leaving Eddie with only tortillas. Batista comes back, stating he was missing the tortillas.
Earlier in the day, Melina is on a cell phone call when a motorcycle approaches with Christy Hemme on it. Melina tells Christy she better watch herself, and shoves Christy. Melina breaks a nail shoving Christy, and tells Christy she will pay for Melina’s nail.
Back to the ring as Melina is introduces in front of a buzzing media circus. Nitro and Mercury accompany her. Melina continues to prepare herself as we head for commercial. Christy Hemme comes out as the program resumes. She dances to and in the ring, to the crowd’s delight.
Melina vs. Christy Hemme: A lock up and Christy throws Melina into the corner. Another lock up and Melina pushes Christy into the ropes, and then slaps her. Melina with a standing drop kick and a cover. Two count, and Melina begins to work on Christy’s left arm. Christy fights to the ropes, and the hold is broken. Melina stalks Christy, and begins to work the arm again. Melina steps through the ropes, drapes Christy’s arm over the second rope, and drops to the floor. After two unsuccessful pin attempts, Melina throws a temper tantrum. Christy is thrown to the corner and reverses into a sunset flip for a two count. Christy delivers with a boot to the midsection, and gets another two count. She throws Melina across the ring by her hair and gets a two count with the feet on the ropes. Johnny Nitro then grabs Christy’s leg and takes her down to the mat allowing Melina to get the three count. Christy gets up and throws Melina down. Nitro and Mercury get in the ring and grab Christy. MNM attempt the Snap Shot when Animal and Heidenreich make the save.

Footage is shown of last week’s funeral held by the Ortons. The Undertaker in the casket was not a fake. He was the real thing. And the dead man took care of business disposing of Randy Orton.
A promo is shown for the 3 hour Homecoming edition of RAW for Monday, October 3.
Bob Orton comes to the ring after the commercial break in preparation of his match with the Undertaker. Bob Orton grabs the microphone. He introduces himself to the Undertaker, stating he is a Hall of Famer and a tough SOB. He calls out the Undertaker. He says he knows everyone thinks Randy will get involved tonight. That won’t happen. He told Randy he can have a chance at the Undertaker at No Mercy. The bells toll, the lights go out, and the Undertaker is introduced. The Undertaker makes his customary entrance, with his slow walk, and the crowd loves it. Cowboy Bob Orton stares at the Undertaker as he readies himself for their encounter. The Undertaker summons the lights to shine, and the lights obey. Cole and Tazz put over the handicap Casket Match between the Undertaker and the Ortons.
Cowboy Bob Orton vs. The Undertaker: Both men slowly circle each other. Orton begins with a couple of jabs to the Undertaker’s face, and Orton powders out of the ring. The Undertaker follows. Back in the ring and Orton begins with shots to the back, but they have no effect on the dead man. Undertaker sends Orton into the corner, but Orton is reversed to the other corner into the referee, knocking the referee out. Randy Orton comes out and assaults the Undertaker with his father. Undertaker is sent out of the ring. Bob drives the Undertaker’s head into the announce table. Randy follows suit, driving the dead man’s head into the announce table. A double team ensues back in the ring. The Undertaker is defenseless as both Ortons continue the attack. Bob goes to the top rope. Randy picks up the Undertaker, and Bob lowers the boom on the dead man from the top rope. The referee comes to as Bob covers. A long two count and the Undertaker kicks out and sits up. Randy comes into the ring to deliver the RKO, but the Undertaker sidesteps it. He throws Randy out of the ring. The Undertaker then picks Bob Orton up for the Tombstone. The Undertaker drags the referee over to Orton and the referee makes the three count. Randy tends to his father as the Undertaker glares on.

We are back from commercial and a replay is shown of the Undertaker’s victory over the ace, Cowboy Bob Orton. The graphic for the handicap Casket Match is shown. Just announced, Animal/Heidenreich/Christy Hemme vs. MNM at No Mercy. JBL vs. Rey Mysterio, and Batista vs. Eddie Guerrero will all take place at No Mercy.
Bobby Lashley comes to the ring and we witness highlights from last week’s match against Simon Dean. The three time amateur wrestling champion made short work of Dean in his SmackDown debut.
Bobby Lashley vs. Russell Simpson: Lashley with power amateur moves to take down Simpson. Lashley shows his inexperience as he charges to an empty corner. Simpson takes over with boots to the body and into the corner. Simpson works on Lashley’s leg. Lashley comes back and hits a big back breaker, then several clotheslines. Lashley picks up Simpson in a gut wrench position, then slams him chest first to the mat for a big three count. After the match, Simon Dean comes to the ring on a scooter. Dean tells Lashley that he was very impressed by Lashley last week. Dean continues that he didn’t expect to wrestle Lashley last week. He expected to wrestle one of the fat fans instead. He offers Lashley a bottle of his Simon System and tells Lashley he will need it in their match at No Mercy. Lashley stomps the bottle of Simon System and press slams Dean out of the ring and onto the floor.

After the commercial, we will see Christian.
We’re back and the Peep Show is under way. Christian says as he looked down the card for No Mercy, he noticed there was no match for the United States Championship. Christian says Chris Benoit was on a tear since he won the title until Christian pinned him. Booker T’s music plays and Booker comes to the ring with Sharmell. Sharmell asks Christian if he thinks he deserves a title shot. Booker T says he beat Christian last week and Booker T thinks he should get the title shot at No Mercy. Orlando Jordan’s music starts, and OJ heads to the ring. OJ says everyone needs to chill with that stuff, because he deserves the title shot. OJ says Benoit has done nothing but make fun of him since Benoit won the title. OJ says Benoit could not beat him in 30 seconds last week. Booker T says it took OJ longer to say all that than it took Benoit to make him tap out. Theodore Long comes out and says he will allow Chris Benoit to choose his opponent for No Mercy tonight. Long will allow Benoit to have one last look at the three competitors in a triple threat match right now. Long calls for a referee as we go to break.
Booker T vs. Christian vs. Orlando Jordan: Back from commercial, the match is underway. OJ and Christian are double-teaming Booker T. Booker throws Christian out of the ring and hits a vertical suplex on Jordan. Booker goes outside after Christian. Jordan comes out after Booker but Booker T cuts him off. Christian nails Booker T and sends him back in the ring. Christian begins to work on Booker T’s neck. Booker T works back up but Christian reverses him into the corner. Christian and Booker T are in the corner. Booker T is attempting a superplex, and OJ comes in and power bombs both men. All three men slowly work up, and Booker T begins to take control over OJ. Booker T throws OJ in the corner, then throws Christian in the corner on top of OJ. Christian and OJ fall out of the corner. Booker T hooks Christian for a slingshot. OJ falls into a schoolboy behind Booker. Christian goes over the top rope and OJ hooks Booker T for the three count. Chris Benoit comes out and tells Jordan he is so proud of him. Benoit says it’s OJ that deserves the title shot. Benoit then looks at Christian and says Christian beat him a few weeks ago. Maybe Christian deserves the title shot. Benoit then looks at Booker T and says they are good friends, maybe Booker T deserves the shot. He then looks at all three men and says it will be a fatal four way for the United States Championship at No Mercy.

After the commercial, it will be Batista and Eddie Guerrero vs. Animal and Heidenreich for the WWE Tag Team titles.
We’re back, Theodore Long and the network executive are conferencing when Vince McMahon walks in. Vince asks what SmackDown superstars will compete on RAW at Homecoming. Long runs down a list of JBL, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Christian, and Batista. Vince asks what the match will be. Long says he doesn’t know what the match will be. Vince says he knows Long has a match planned, because that’s the SmackDown Teddy Long and he knows Long is full of surprises. The executive tells Vince the match will be spectacular. Vince asks the executive if he has heard of the TV show “Everybody Hates Chris”? Vince says that everybody loves the network executive and leaves.
The WWE Tag Team Champions come to the ring to a great ovation. Next out is Eddie Guerrero. Out last is the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista, to a thunderous response. The champion’s pyro explodes and he is on his way to the ring. Eddie is on the outside clapping and cheering for Batista. After the break, the WWE Tag Team Titles are up for grabs.
Animal/Heidenreich vs. Batista/Eddie Guerrero: The match begins in progress after the commercial, with Heidenreich in control over Eddie. Eddie asks Heidenreich to tag Animal, and then Eddie tags Batista. Batista and Animal circle, and Animal hits a boot to the gut. Animal attempts a suplex, but is unsuccessful. Animal clotheslines Batista, then misses an elbow drop. Eddie tags himself in, but doesn’t realize Animal tagged Heidenreich. Eddie begins to complain about an injury, and the referee confers with Batista. Eddie then hits a low blow. The advantage doesn’t last long for Eddie, and the champions begin to make frequent tags. Heidenreich comes in after a few successful tags, and works on Eddie’s arm and shoulder. He tags in Animal, who delivers a power slam. Animal tags Heidenreich and calls for the Doom’s Day Device. Eddie Reverses himself on Animal, and takes Animal down. He then nails Heidenreich. Eddie tags Batista. Batista is in with clotheslines and spine busters to both opponents. Batista hits Heidenreich with the Batista Bomb. Animal breaks up the pin. MNM come to the ring and nail the champions. Batista gets up to help Animal and Heidenreich. Eddie hits Batista with a chair. Once Batista starts to get up, Eddie hands Mercury the chair and falls down. Batista sees Mercury with the chair. He nails Mercury with a spine buster and then a chair shot. Eddie gets up and he and Batista hug and celebrate as Cole and Tazz plug the SmackDown superstars at RAW Homecoming Monday as we sign off .
