The NBC Experience Store at Rockefeller Center in New York City is preparing to unveil an exhibit of World Wrestling Entertainment memorabilia, likely as part of an official signing by WWE champion John Cena scheduled for later this week.
The exhibit, currently being set up, will feature The Undertaker’s hat and jacket, a replica of John Cena’s WWE championship belt, Rey Mysterio’s mask, old WWF era shirts, WWE action figures, Kane’s outfit, and posters advertising the move to the USA Network, among other items. The memorabilia is cased behind glass in a long hallway that features a series of screens running WWE commercials on a loop.
As part of the WWE’s synergy with NBC Universal, the store also features huge billboards in their windows, showcasing Torrie Wilson, Triple H, John Cena, and Carlito Caribbean Cool. The store is also selling a small cache of WWE merchandise, and is promoting Cena’s signing by playing his theme music and running videos on screens inside the store.
