Police are renewing appeals for information about the current whereabouts of a 33-year-old Norwich woman who has now been missing for five weeks.
Julia Hamer was last seen by her husband at the family home in the area of The Avenues in Norwich on the evening of Saturday, August 27. She made contact with a mutual friend by telephone on Friday, September 2, but has not been heard from since.
Concern is mounting for Julia’s welfare as she has never gone missing before.
Her family are extremely concerned about her and would like to urge her to contact them to let them know she is safe and well.
Julia is described as being about 5ft 6ins tall, of thin build, with red shoulder length hair and a pale complexion. She is believed to have been travelling in a white M-registered Honda Civic car.
Julia’s husband Patrick Frary said: “We are really desperate to hear from her and we just want her to know that there is nothing that we can’t get past as a family – we can sort it out. She is a brilliant wife and mother and we just miss her so much and we are so worried about her.”
Julia has two children Zak, 14, and Saraya, 13. She is a well-known wrestler and a World Association of Wrestling British Women’s champion. Her stage name is Sweet Saraya and she performs with her husband, who is known in the wrestling world as Ricky Knight.
Officers from Norfolk Constabulary are making numerous enquiries to try and trace Julia’s whereabouts and are working with other Forces in the UK.
It is thought Julia could be in Essex or Cornwall and officers are investigating the possibility that she may even have travelled to France.
Kristina Raines, spokeswoman for Norwich Police, said: “We would urge Julia to contact either the police or her family to let us know she is safe and well.
“She can walk into any police station and leave a message.”
Anyone with information about Julia’s whereabouts should contact officers at Earlham Police Station in Norwich on 0845 4564567.
