Hello everyone my name is George “TMI” Champlin and I would first like to thank the staff at the TBL for having me back as a writer. For some of you older readers you will remember my monthly article called Remember When? Well everyone it will be making its comeback in October. I also will be writing the TNA iMPACT reports for the Inside The Ring Newsletter again.
What I would like to do for my first Remember When column is to ask you fans who old school wrestler you would like to know about. So please email me at gripperm@gmail.com with your requests and I will do my best to cover the wrestlers that are requested.
Now just a quick ramble for me and that is what is happening in the wrestling world right now. With the WWE moving back to USA and Spike picking up iMPACT I am more marked out since Nash threw Rey into the trailer in 1996. The rumors going around is that if TNA pulls the numbers needed then they will be moved to Monday night once the UFC season is over. What I would rather have is a hour of TNA at 9 then the Ultimate Fighter at 10, then when the Ultimate Fighter is over give TNA two full hours. This can bring back the Monday night wars and would bring out the best in all organizations. The only problem that I see right now is the fact that they moved the TNA title back to Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett has been nothing more than a mid card wrestler and you only get once chance to make a great first impression. What I am pleading Spike to do with countless emails is to have the first show begin with a replay of the AJ, Soma Joe, Daniels match at the last TNA PPV. If that does not capture a wrestling fan then nothing will! Well the countdown is and I am happy to back.
