In an announcement on its official website, TNA Wrestling confirmed the acquisition of the tag team once known as The Dudley Boyz. According to the article, the duo signed a multi-year contract with the number two national wrestling promotion.
“We see TNA as the future of wrestling,” Devon told TNAwrestling.com. “They have a lot of amazing talent that are ready to step up and revolutionize this business. We thought we had done it all in tag team wrestling until we saw TNA Wrestling. Now, we begin a new chapter in our careers. The NWA World Tag Team Titles are one prize we haven’t held yet, so we’re both really excited about joining TNA.”
While noting that they would be showing up on a future episode of TNA iMPACT, the release did not explicitly confirm an appearance on the Spike TV debut. That is expected, however.
