It has now been made official by New Japan that Brock Lesnar will be wrestling on their 10/8 show, as Brock and Masa Chono challenge IWGP Hvt. Champion Kazuyuji Tujita in a three-way bout. This violates Brock Lesnar’s no compete clause from his WWE contract. The clause holds legally through 2010. It will be interesting to see how WWE will react to this.
Charlie Haas & Mark Jindrak team up, while Matt Morgan takes on Yuji Nagata at the very same Tokyo Dome show on 10/8.
Tjhe USA Network announced only three pre-emptions of Monday Night RAW in 2006. RAW will air on: Wednesday, February 15 instead of Monday, February 13 due to a planned Westminster Dog Show; August 28 due to the US Open – will not be rescheduled for that week; September 4 – will instead air on Friday, September 8. Of course, logic would have SpikeTV airing either a special TNA or UFC show on those dates.
