Unfortunately, we have another wrestling death to report about.
Sailor Ed White, who wrestled around the world but was most popular in Eastern Canada as well as Southern Africa, died at age 56. He had battled drugs and alcohol addiction earlier in his life, after his wrestling career was over, and after become a reborn Christian, still had plenty of health issues over the past few years, when he moved to his hometown of St. John’s.
White was known in the WWWF as Moondog King and was actualy a former WWWF/WWF Tag Team Champion alongside Randy Culley, as the original Moondogs. Unfortunately, he was caught with drugs on the Canadian border once, preventing him from returning to the United States to work for the company again, and was changed with Spot (Lary Booker).
