Just when you thought it couldn’t get any bigger, WrestleFest ’05 adds even more top names as NWA Cyberspace brings in Traci Brooks, Tammy (Sunny) Sytch and Bobby Roode of Team Canada. (Please note that these names are not part of the superticket).
And never before have fans had the opportunity to dine with wrestling legends of this magnitude, but on September 24, 2005 as part of Wrestlefest ’05 at the Huntington Hilton (lunch from 1-2PM) you can meet and eat with Missy Hyatt, Terry Funk, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Mr. USA Tony Atlas and Larry Zybysko. Seating is limited to forty fans with every wrestler seated at a table with ten fans. Tickets only $55. Note: the legends lunch is a separate event not included in any other Wrestlefest ’05 package so reserve your seat now to be part of this. Call Ken at 516-473-4944 or e-mail wrestlefest05@hotmail.com for reservations. Also, a raffle has been added where one lucky winner will dine alone with “The First Lady Of Professional Wrestling”- Missy Hyatt.
Wrestlefest ’05 — never before has such a parade of wrestling legends come to Long Island.
Other Superstar guests include (even more to be announced in weeks ahead!):
Andrew “Test” Martin- This former WWE Intercontinental Champion also has held their Hardcore, European and Tag Team straps. He’s had notable feuds with the entire McMahon clan, as well as HHH, The Rock and all the top headliners. Trained by Bret Hart he is one of the sports’ top young stars and looks forward to meeting his many fans at WrestleFest ’05. Note: Andrew “Test” Martin will be brought in by promoter Frank Goodman and will not be part of the super ticket.
D-Lo Brown-
Also a top international star, having held the WWF Intercontinental and European Heavyweight titles as well as the NWA-TNA World Tag title, he debuted in the WWF as one of the members of Faarooq’s Nation of Domination. D-Lo continues to campaign around the globe. Note: D-Lo Brown will be brought in by promoter Frank Goodman and will not be part of the super ticket.
The Dudley Boyz- Making one of their first post-WWE appearances, these former WWF and ECW champions are one of the most successful tag teams of all time. They’ve had notable feuds with the Hardy Boyz, Edge & Christian, The Undertaker and many other teams and their 3D Dudley Death Drop is a classic maneuver. Don’t miss this rare area autograph appearance and your chance to meet the Dudley Boyz.
Nikita Koloff- As a champion, this legend held such NWA belts as the World Tag Team Title with Ivan Koloff, the U.S. Heavyweight Title, National Heavyweight Title and TV title. As a headliner he feuded with such greats as Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Tully Blanchard and fellow WrestleFest ’05 guest Magnum T.A. with whom he defeated in a classic best-of-seven series. Nikita looks forward to a rare NY appearance at WrestleFest ’05.
Missy Hyatt- As manager of Eddie Gilbert, The Steiner Brothers, Hollywood John Tatum and so many others, Missy Hyatt had notable feuds with Sunshine, Paul E. Dangerously and Madusa. She also co-hosted the UWF syndicated show with Jim Ross and made her mark in ECW, managing both Sandman and Shane Douglas. She makes a rare autograph appearance at WrestleFest ’05.
Jerry “The King” Lawler-
This former AWA champion is considered one of the all-time great wrestling stars and only Elvis was bigger in Memphis. His feud with Andy Kaufman took them to the David Letterman show and he also appeared with Jim Carrey in the Kaufman biopic Man on the Moon. Currently a WWE play by play man, his is a name that transcends professional wrestling.
Terry Funk-
Both an NWA and ECW world champion, Funk’s career has also gone beyond professional wrestling with many movie (including the powerful documentary Beyond the Mat) and TV roles and his recent autobiography. His feuds with Jack Brisco, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Sabu and so many others are considered legendary. One of wrestling’s most beloved figures, he looks forward to meeting his many Long Island fans at Wrestlefest.
Magnum TA-
One of the best babyfaces ever, Magnum Terry Allen was an NWA mega star with many classic matches with title holder Ric Flair and other top 80s names. Regarded by many at the time as a future NWA world champion, his career was tragically cut short after a devastating car crash. He makes his first New York autograph appearance at Wrestlefest.
The Midnight Express-
The due that made tag teaming an art form, Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton had many classic feuds including their encounters with the Rock and Roll Express of Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson. They’ve recently reunited after many years and haven’t lost a step; Condrey and Eaton are looking forward to making a rare New York appearance at Wrestlefest.
Larry Zybysko-
A long-time AWA World Champion, he also was a top WWWF heel, challenging both Bob Backlund and Bruno Sammartino for their respective belts. Zybysko faced his mentor Bruno Sammartino at Shea Stadium in 1980, selling some 40,000 seats in a bout that is still talked about today. One of the best talkers in the business, he is still active on the indie circuit.
Dustin Rhodes-
A star in every promotion he’s ever appeared in, Rhodes probably made his biggest splash as the outrageous Goldust in the WWE. A former WWE Intercontinental champion, hardcore champion and tag champ (with Booker T), he also held gold numerous times in WCW and in regional territories. Rhodes remains a top wrestling star today.
Tony Atlas-
Tony Atlas was a former WWWF Tag team champion with Rocky Johnson and also held the NWA Georgia Tag Team title with both Mr. Wrestling II and Tommy Rich. Atlas actually pinned Hulk Hogan in 1981 in Madison Square Garden and was a professional bodybuilder and former Mr. USA prior to becoming a wrestler. This perennial favorite is still active and looks forward to meeting his many area fans at WrestleFest.
Steve Corino-
The King of Old School and former ECW Champion’s distinguished career has included his AWA World Heavyweight Title victory (defeating Takao Omori on June 11, 2005) and winning the NWA World Heavyweight Title in 2001. A man who has been known to bleed for his art, Corino remains a world traveler and crowd pleaser. Please note that Mr. Corino will not be part of the Super Ticket.
On September 24th from 9AM to 5 PM, 3 former world champions in NWA and ECW Champ Terry Funk and former AWA title holders Larry Zybysko and Jerry “The King” Lawler will be joined at WrestleFest by other great stars such as perennial #1 contender Magnum T.A., the colorful Dustin “Goldust” Rhodes, Tony Atlas, Steve Corino and the team that many historians consider the greatest in history, Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton — The Midnight Express.
Over the next few weeks and months, many more names will be added to an ever growing list of historic figures. Keep logging on to www.kandswrestlefest.com for further announcements.

Julio Dinero has approached PPW’s booking committee
and demanded that he get an opportunity to shut the
mouth of his former co- worker (ECW, NWA- TNA, ECWA,
and many other indy feds) Simon Diamond. This presented
a problem, as Julio has been slated to wrestle King
Kaluha, and Diamond won’t be in attendance for PPW’s
November 26th event in Somerset, NJ at the Garden State
Exhibit Center due to prior commitments.
After deliberations, PPW has decided to give this
rivalry it’s due, and make it a 1 on 1 match to “settle
the score” on September 10, 2005 at Piledriver Pro’s
“Pro USA Tour 2005” at the Bound Brook Elks Lodge
between these two stars who have been on a parallel
course and have worked together and disliked each other
for over 8 years.
This put veteran bad guy King Kaluha in a VERY bad
mood. Kaluha has had his attorney contact PPW’s offices
relentlessly, and after reviewing Kaluha’s contract for
September 10th, PPW has decided that it is within the
parameters of this contract to book King Kaluha against
an opponent of the booking committee’s choosing.
PPW will not comment on the opponent thus far, but has
promised not to disappoint!
This alone is reason enough to attend Piledriver Pro
Wrestling’s inaugural event on September 10, at the
Bound Brook Elks Lodge #1388 305 East 2nd Street Bound
Brook, NJ. But there is more, much more…

The media’s raved about Johnny Valiant. The WWE was there to cover his funny and poignant show for Raw Magazine. So don’t miss “An Evening With Johnny Valiant”
Presented by Michael McHugh and New Century Booking.
“He hugs his microphone, peers into the intimately situated crowd and sets sail on a 90-minute one-man show that slices and dices his days as a professional wrestler with animated humor and unexpected sensitivity: fall-out-of-your-seat funny.”
(Kenny Herzog- Long Island Press)
“Stuns like a side piledriver”
(The Village Voice)
“He is funny, prowling the stage and using his graying, 240-pound frame as a comic prop. It’s as if Spalding Gray had, at least for a few minutes, entered the body of Jonathan Winters.”
(Microsoft’s Slate)
“The one-man show serves as a confessional of sorts, an exorcism of the demons one accumulates on the sleeper-hold circuit.”
(Time Out New York)
“a knack for impersonating fellow wrestlers with a suitcase full of funny road stories”
Nick Zainno- Boston Globe
“Johnny Valiant adds excitement to anything he performs in…he brings so much…he is awesome.”
(Billy Merritt of Piledriver– Upright Citizens Brigade Troop)
“Funny Heartwarming, and very, very interesting. You had to be there. I did not see anyone leave the place for even one of those 55 minutes. Riveting- glad I was there.”
(Gary Heiderich WTFO Hotline)
“Johnny was always one of the most outrageous characters as a wrestler. Now, in standup, you don’t want to mess with Johnny.”
(Fred Geobold, WBAI-FM Light Show NYC)
“The people loved Johnny. Congratulations on a memorable evening.”
(Nick Oddo Documentary Filmmaker)
“Johnny Valiant is hilarious and entertaining.”
(Nelson Torres WTF TV NYC)
