As usual, tomorrow’s edition of RAW is going to focus mostly on the SummerSlam PPV, and the fallout of the event, as WWE.com states itself.
The two major storylines from the brand’s part of the card – Jericho/Cena, and Michaels/Hogan will probably be the main topic in hand. Michaels’ surprising face turn last night will probably be the vital point here, where they could do more follow up – either cement his spot as a face, or do another quick turn. Whatever it is they do, they’ll probably do some build for it.
I don’t know if Jericho will be appearing tonight or from here on for that matter. Time will tell. If WWE is smart they will start setting up Angle vs. Cena for Unforgiven right away, with tonight’s program. They did a good job of putting Angle over last night.
Matt Hardy and Edge is another very interesting decision from SummerSlam. I can’t help but wonder where this is going and I have to be honest – I have no f***ing clue. Cussing is required here, seeing as this has been ridiculous ever since that infamous Hardy promo.
Well, tonight is Ashley’s first appearance on RAW as a 100% RAW Diva. I’m very excited about that, and you should be too. Go Ashley! She’s the #1 diva when it comes to pointing, since I’m yet to see her do anything else other than that.
This would be a good night for Trish Stratus to make her return. I’d be on the lookout for that, as it should be happening anytime now.
WWE tends to either deliver very strong PPV fallout shows, or very weak ones. When they have no idea what they’re doing, they end with a weak show that features filler material. If that’s the case tomorrow, expect Masters, Snitsky, and the rest to resurface. Big Show’s push should continue as well. If it’s a blow-out show getting everyone ready for the next PPV, then there will be tons of storyline progression and new programs being started. Gosh, who are we kidding here?
That should do it for tonight. Enjoy the show.
