Well, it didn’t take long for Frankie Kazarian to part ways with WWE, as apparently he has asked for his WWE release and the company has granted it.
Several reasons let to his departure from the company, where he started on the July 16th edition of Velocity, where he defeated Nunzio.
Frankie asked WWE that if he wasn’t to be used on TV to please be let go, which is what ultimately happened. At first they responded by putting him on Velocity and giving him some mic time weekly to develop a character. Wins over Nunzio, Scotty 2 Hotty, Funaki and Paul London followed. However, Kazarian never got on SmackDown! and apparently still wasn’t happy with the way he was used. The final blow to the situation came when WWE asked him to cut his long hair and change his look. Added to Vince McMahon’s recent speech of slowing things down with the cruiserweights and banning moves such as the 450 Splash and the Shooting Star Press, this was enough for Kazarian.
