The card for this Saturday’s UFC live TV special at 9pm on SpikeTV has been finalized. The show largely revolves around fighters from “The Ultimate Fighter,” especially the establishment of Quarry and Koscheck, as well as a main event of Nathan Marquardt vs. Ivan Salaverry.

Meanwhile, PRIDE has announced possible names for participation in the Bushido Grand Prix, which is scheduled for September 25. According to the website Sherdog, Nobuhiko Takada, the retired fighter and public face of the company, announced also that Takanori Gomi would be the first fighter in the 160 pound (73 kg.) tournament.
Mr. Gomi, who has a MMA record of 20-2, is perhaps the biggest star in the Bushido series.
Also said to be possible choices for the 160 pound tournament were Hayato Sakurai, Tasyua Kawajiri, Naoyuki Kotani, Dokonjonosuke Mishima, Jens Pulver, Yves Edwards, Ralph Gracie, Luiz Azeredo, Luiz Firmino, Charles Bennett, Joachim Hansen.
Of those, the most notable names are Kawajiri, Pulver, Edwards, and Hansen.
Choices for the 183 pound (83 kg.) tournament are Ryo Chonan, Ikuhisa Minowa, Akihiro Gono, Kazuo Misaki, Ryuta Sakurai, Yasuhito Namekawa, Akira Shoji, Danie Acacio, Muilo Bustamante, Phil Baroni, Denis Kang, Paulo Filho, and Yuki Kondo.
