The following news was compiled for the most part by e-mails sent in by readers and fans of the website.
Several readers have sent word that despite Animal & Heidenreich winning the gold at Great American Bash, the “Superstars” page on the official SmackDown! website at WWE.com does not indicate this. In fact, as of this writing, both Road Warrior Animal and Heidenreich have been completely removed from the Superstar listing.
Another thing several readers pointed out, during the RAW replay on TSN in Canada they did show Matt Hardy attacking Edge and Lita leaving in the ambulance. During the live run, many readers had informed us that they went to immediate commercial breaks several times during the end of the stretcher match.
The final thing to note here, WWE.com is acknowledging Matt Hardy’s “invasion” on RAW for the first time since returning to the company. They have him shown in one of the RAW video clips on the main page. Before this, they didn’t acknowledge Hardy in the clips, pictures, or even results for RAW. That’s a decent sign that they’re about to finally do something different than having Hardy run in and beat up Edge while the announcers stay muted.
