UFC Unleashed debuts tonight on SpikeTV following RAW at 11:05 pm. This comes a few weeks before the August 11 special that airs on SpikeTV as well. The show includes matches from the UFC special last season, three of which haven’t previously aired and one of which is a candidate for shoot match of the year: Stephan Bonnar vs. Forrest Griffin, Diego Sanchez vs. Kenny Florian, Alex Karalexis vs. Josh Rafferty, Mike Swick vs. Alex Schoenauer.
The K-1/Maeda Hero’s Middleweight tournament continues on 9/7 at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo with this card: Genki Sudo vs. Kazuyuki Miyata, Remigijus Morkevicius vs. Hiroyuki Takaya, Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto vs. Royler Gracie, Kaoru Uno vs. Hideo Tokoro, Sudo/Miyata winner vs. Morkevicius/Takaya winner, Yamamoto/Gracie winner vs. Uno/Tokoro winner, tournament finals. The winner will advance to the New Year’s Eve K-1 Dynamite show.
