I attended the Lexington Ky Raw House SHow on 7/15/05
Here are the Results:
Viscera vs Tomko
Viscera won in a so-so match. I wasn’t very impressed.
Taijiri vs Kerwin White (Chavo Guerrero)
Another so so match with White the winner. This had some comedy spots.
Christy Hemme vs Victoria
with Maria as Guest Announcer
Hemme won and both Hemme and Maria beat up Victoria after the match.
Rosie and the Hurricane vs the Heart Throbs for the Tag Team titles
Rosie and the Hurricane win in a fair match.
The Coach comes out and announces some changes to the card and then
introduces Renee Dupree who cuts a promo partly in French. THen Eugene
comes out with some toy that Dupree and the Coach rip up and Eugene
gives the Coach the Rock bottom and Dupree a stunner.
Edge W/Lita vs the Big Show
The Big Show wins in a rather boring match via DQ when Edge hits him
with the weakest chairshot I have ever seen. Gene Snitzky also
interferes and gets a chokeslam at the end.
Intermission
Carlito vs Shelton Benjamin for the IC Title
Carlito wins in a fair match with his feet on the ropes.
HBK vs Ric Flair
HBK wins in a good match. This and the main event are a tie for match of
the night. Good action. Flair cuts a promo before the match knocking
the KY Wildcats basketball team whom are seen as “GODS” here in
Lexington. I hate the Wildcats, so I was loving it. He also challenged a
fan in the audience as well. Good action during the match. Funny spot
came when HBK pulled down Flair’s trunks and showed Flair’s rear end
during a sunset flip. One interesting note was that HBK came out to a
HUGE face pop and was cheered throughout the match.
John Cena vs HHH for the World Heavyweight Title
John Cena wins in a good match. Both wrestlers worked hard. I enjoyed
the match. One good spot is when Cena is down on the floor and HHH gets
up on the top turnbuckle and does the “You can’t see me” with his hand
and is about to land on Cena, and Cena put up his foot. Great stuff.
Cena wins with the FU. Cena then cuts a promo post-match.
