If you haven’t heard yet – make sure to either watch or tape this week’s edition of WWE Velocity. We’ve been told by a lot of people, and plenty of sources have confirmed it, that the main event match between Chris Benoit and William Regal was off the hook, and perhaps one of the best bouts this year.
The TV Guide website has picked up on the story from Variety that I reported about on the website yesterday. They call their article “Low Blow” and mention the crazy gimmick — http://www.tvguide.com/news/entertainment/050712.asp.
The Situation with Tucker Carlson on MSNBC also picked up on what happened. They had a segment on the program debating what took place on SmackDown!. Nothing special to note, just more bad pub.
WWE, in response to the above, posted both articles on their web site here and promised an answer from Hassan later on, which is now up.
