Chuck Liddell was pulled as captain of Team USA for the “Freedom Fight” show on 7/9 in Quebec. In his place, Tito Ortiz will be leading Team USA against Team Canada. Their captain will be Gary Goodridge.
It has been officially announced that the August 28th Pride show, which will feature the semi-finals and finals of the Pride GP tournament, will also have Mirko Cro Cop vs. Fedor Emelianenko on the card.
UFC is working on a documentary on the life of Stephan Bonnar, one of the Ultimate Fighter champions. The project is scheduled to begin production this fall and will be released on DVD in early 2006.
