Dave Meltzer is reporting that Hulk Hogan will make his WWE return on July 4th in Sacramento for TV tapings. It’s expected that WWE will announce this Monday night on RAW from Anaheim that Hogan will make an appearance on the July 4th show. The reason behind him appearing is to promote his new VH1 show – “Hogan Knows Best,” which we wrote about on the site. It is also a move by WWE to prevent RAW from having its lowest rating in history, as July 4th, Independence Day, has proven to be “bad rating” day with SmackDown! doing its lowest rating in history on the national holiday a few years back.
Expect more on Hogan’s return and an official announcement on Monday Night RAW this week.
