WWE.com’s servers simply shut down earlier today while doing the web cast for ECW One Night Stand PPV. The interest in the PPV was too big for the bandwidth available by WWE. If you tried to order the web cast around the starting time of the PPV, you were denied right away. And if you had already ordered the PPV, towards the main event, the web cast went to “Buffering” mode and never recovered. If you wre one of those unlucky people, WWE will be offering refunds. They’ll be doing so because Heyman’s checks would bounce if used for refund.
To make matters worse, right after Paul Heyman’s amazing promo, Viewer’s Choice in Canada thought the PPV was over and started airing commercials for the next WWE PPV and movies. They quickly switched back to the PPV as the Dudleyz were making their entrance.
